I've never understand why people spend so much effort and money on clothes when you could just lift as have a low bf%. How much do clothes help in addition to these?

neither do I, most guys where I live and at my college wear nike, adidas trackies, hoodies and chit and get loads of girls yet I've been bashed by the misc for wearing the same in my pics lol
if your trying to get chavvy sloots clothes dont matter too much unless you look like a complete tramp, fashion only matters if your going for middle class posh older girls tbh

Over the past year I basically threw out my old wardrobe and got a new set, I rarely used to get compliments off girls about my clothes or how I look but now it happens fairly regularly. The main thing was the fit, I always used to get clothes too big, I'm pretty slim.
I would say that it's not really the label, cost etc. but putting together decent quality clothes that go together and a good fit will attract girls more. I've spoken to girls that have been put of guys that dress badly, slightly shallow but then I wouldn't want to go around with a girl that dresses rubbishy on my arm either.

I have asked all my lady friends this and here is the overwhelming response:
Of most importance:
1. Facial aesthetics
3. General appearance (self grooming etc)
4. Body (Every single girl said, "Has a nice body? Great, but its not essential or going to be a deal sealer).
Didn't include money, thats not relevent to 16-22~ yo girls.
ALSO, Girls appreciate guys who look after themselves more than we think (well more than i thought anyway).
Most said "He doesn't have to be good looking, but noticeably looking after himself is a big yes."

Females are like Crows (picso of said crow below). They see something shiny and try to latch onto it.
