Howdy guys, first off a little about myself. My name is Jake, I'm 22 years young, I currently live in northern central MA. I was a jock in HS, playing football and participating in competitive powerlifting. Since then I've been out of shape, in shape, and everything in between.
Last January I started my first ever bulk, which was cut entirely too short as I got fat much more quickly than I desired, so I began my first cut in April, ran it thru September.
before and after
Currently running my bulk, I'm about 2 weeks in, I've been eating 3200 cals per day. Haven't gained a pound, currently hovering around 183 the past two monday mornings.
Here's my split
Day 1 Lower Power
Day 2 Upper Power
rest/cardio
Day 3 Back and Shoulders hyper
Day 4 Lower hyper
Day 5 Chest and arms hyper
rest/cardio
Here's my current body composition
http://youtu.be/hs6RYrGxVb0
holding a bit of water, as I'm eating about 4-500 cho a day lawlz. My posture is kinda fukked atm, I've been having some issues with my hip lately.
Anywho, I won't be as avid of a logger as I was when I was cutting, but you guys can expect regular training vids and posing practice (as it's obviously much needed). And here's a vid from todays lower hyper training,
critique me bitches
http://youtu.be/Lmz8d-MYnZc
not parallel on my back squats, but really focused on the burn and contraction of my quads and glutes, thoughts? Should I worry about parallel as much on hyper days? (my ass is definitely hitting it on power days)
Peace!!

Regarding squats, can't tell if depth is good or not but looks fine from this angle, what I will say is you're loading your knees an awful lot, have you ever tried pointing your toes out a bit and spreading the knees more to give your upper body more space to descend? Just my two cents, as someone with a ****ed up knee lewl. Also ever tried oly shoes? Definitely nothing too bad about the form from what I see but the knees do look like they're under a looot of unnecessary stress, even with the low weight. It's not a leg press ***** ya feel me? Front squats look good, i guess the same advice applies but they look pretty much fine, wouldn't worry about those.
Mirin everything doe. In for bulk

Yeah, I was focused on "bodybuilder" form with the high bar and narrow stance, lots of work still to be done. My strength squats look good though, fixed my knee cave issues.
Yeah bro, whenever you want to throw some **** around I'm down. Marlborough?*OKC THUNDER*

sick calf exercise. I rarely do em but yeah those leave you sore as ****...Lately ive been hitting calfs 3x/week with 6 sets (3 seated 3 staring) of 50 (light weight, hard contraction)....I read from a few places its a great way to grow em because they need high rep and frequency work due to being constantly used for walking etc. I actually had one of my buddies I hadnt seen in a while come say my calves got huge out of the blue, so I think it must be working. also check CP

It's like I'm on bed rest when I'm not lifting terrible. Chiro says it's a posture problem, but with there not being any position at all that alleviates the pain, I'm thinking it's a pinched nerve. No idea how to fix it (and I don't have health insurance).
I usually eat the fro yo, cherry garcia is my fave yogurt. But I've had that, cookie dough, half baked and red velvet cake so far. Haven't seen much variety, the ones I haven't tried in the stores I shop in are either a type of chocolate flavor and Phish food.*OKC THUNDER*

Damn. If it's a nerve I have no idea. If it's postural there might be some **** I could help with but I wouldn't count on it, lol. Hope it gets better soon man.
Try out this Edy's lower fat pumpkin ice cream... seriously ****ing bomb, 90 cals a serving too, even though I'm in a surplus I still like eating an enormous bowl of ice cream for lower cals haha.Boston - UMass - Sales brah

Well if it's postural, he says each time I take a step, I'm jarring my spine. Okay then there wouldn't have been a specific incident that would make it feel worse all of a sudden. I really think I pinched a nerve, I actually remember it feeling worse after doing cable wood choppers (twisting with heavy weight) it's happened before when I was deadlifting, but it went away after a week. I'm coming up on 2 weeks now and it's only getting worse. Anyway he ordered some orthotic inserts to "fix" my posture problem. But the sessions I've been doing with him haven't helped at all.

I've heard mixed things about chiros, a few miracle stories, but most people just complain about how much of a ripoff it was. Idk mate
