If I'm not mistaken didn't the Layne bcaa study use 30g of carbs in addition to the leucine?

The last piece of information given in Layne’s research is that an additional 20-30g of carbohydrates taken between meals with 3g of leucine or a BCAA product can give a greater MPS response compared to dosing no carbohydrates alone.
I'm only guessing that's why, so if someone were trying to follow that protocol then they could time this product in correlation to their pre meal and post workout. Too much trouble for me these days but when I was a newb I would've done it in a heartbeat.

I love post workout carbs and aminos -

in fact, I love aminos and simple carbs before/during/post training

not sure why everyone is up in arms about the dextrose, this is a simple and effective formula that matches his preworkout...

It has been shown that ~5g leucine or 20g whey protein maximally stimulate MPS postworkout. In trained, healthy humans. Since the ceiling has already been reached, adding carbs won't make a difference

Who wants to pay a premium for it?

And no one needs BA + Glutamine in their post workout product.

Does the combination of Jym protein powers we,shred and pre and post work out cause stomach issues? Thirty minutes after taking the post I have to use the restroom. Is this normal?
