I prefer protein and amino post workout not that many carbs, I eat carbs before my workout.

If I'm not mistaken didn't the Layne bcaa study use 30g of carbs in addition to the leucine?
The last piece of information given in Layne’s research is that an additional 20-30g of carbohydrates taken between meals with 3g of leucine or a BCAA product can give a greater MPS response compared to dosing no carbohydrates alone.PWO:

I love post workout carbs and aminos -
in fact, I love aminos and simple carbs before/during/post training
