Catch it and euthanize. Most humane/quickest is severing the spinal cord. Take strong screwdriver, place behind the head pinning the rat, pull tail up and back quickly. You should feel a quick pop and its done. Don't fuking bitch out. Half severed is not humane at all. If you are gonna use the "helicopter" and bash it on the wall/sidewalk technique, don't bitch out and do it half ass. 1 strike 1kill is the next most humane disposal.

Hayyy OP u in TX I'll drive by and drop off Black Kitty (no racist) he likes chasing/eating big flying roaches and he's feral so he's used to fighting and killing that kind of shyt
SRS tho that's a rat baby maybe you should put the dog after it, he can smell and see things you can't and may chase it out.... Is there a back door by the laundry room20+, you better ask somebody....

Put a large trashcan next to the door
Sweep him off into trashcan with broom
Throw the kunt outside
???
Profit
EDIT:
F*ck being humane. It's warfare now. Smash the f*cker. If you were a man instead of a beta bitch boy, you could stomp him with your work boots. Instead, you'll have to settle for kicking him with your dainty Sketchers shape ups.

A friend of mine has a cat, I might bring actually ask him to bring it over one day, but this rat only comes out @ night, i’ve seen him before about 4 days ago just running across the dining room. Like I said earlier in the thread he goes under the dishwasher through a small crack (I’ve probably seen about 10-15 throughout this 14 years in this house come out through that crack, never really done anything bout it) Also not gonna leave the door open because of the mosquitos here in houston

my new go-to move are sprays. Why try to kill anything with my bare hands when I can simply keep my distance and spray roach spray or other toxic sprays at the bug/rat...sure they may continue to fly/run around but they WILL die. And you don't get attacked in the process.

good idea, wish you would of told me this earlier when it was on the top of the door... I would probably have to use a whole can but idk if it would work on this size of a rat and plus now idk where the hell it is in the laundry room. I just hope it’s gone by tomorrow because I gotta pick up my shirts/boxers out of there lmao

What that guy said in the first page is right. If you see one, chances are you have a bunch of them.
Sticky traps, in my experience, don't work on rats. They are only good for mice. Get some traps and poison this second if there is a Home Depot that is open in your area. Obviously you have a dog but ask a neighbor if he can watch it for a few days. Clean up your house completely. When you think it's really clean, clean it some more. Finally get some (a lot) of steel wool and plug any holes in your house. Fill them in permanently when you get rid of your rat problem.
Get on this right away, you have more than one of those things in your house and the more you wait the worse it will be.
EDIT: GDPONE is right. There is a good possibility this is a roll bread.

That sounds like a great fukkin idea!! let me fill the inside of my house with some of the most toxic substances known to man and act like they just magically disappear when the pest dies. You'll be inhaling that **** for months and it messes with your mitochondrial DNA like no other...straight up cancer in a can
