Your butt is moving too much before you actually lift the weight off the ground. You may want to drop the weight and focus on form, pull your shoulders back, use your legs to drive the weight up and then thrust your hips forward rather than almost straightening your legs and then pulling with your back.

You're all over the place here. Start the set with the bar on the floor and end the set with the bar on the floor. Walking around with a loaded bar is a really bad idea, and will injure you sooner or later.
Can't tell where the bar is at in relation to your shins in your vids, but review this, and fix your setup to conform:
Your butt is coming up before anything else moves, causing your lower back to round over. Cut the weight, and work to have your shoulders and butt rise at the same time.No brain, no gain.

I disagree, but that's not really the point of this thread. Walking with weight in general is not and injury risk unless you're doing something *really* stupid, which he is not, but it's not going to help is deadlift either.
His lower back is rounding which allows his butt to come up too soon. The lower back rounding is the issue.Qualifying for long drive contest with 328 yard drive

Thanks for all the input I have watched the riptoe videos and I do have my feet half under the bar as he suggests I scrape my shins on the lift. I have been feeling the lower back as I cleared 300 which is why I was posting maybe I'm rushing the weight I will drop my weight and sort out the lower back rounding. (Hate to drop weight but hate more to injure myself). And start the lift from the floor. I will repost form next dead day thanks for the help

Did anyone look at the first video link? It's at 175 from the floor does this look better just so I know if its just the weight or I need to work on form all together. I feel like I started nice and clean but start to see my butt jumping up after the first couple of reps

Lots of back rounding going on. In my opinion, if your back is not strong enough to hold it flat, you have no business lifting the weight. Dont be so quick to want to increase weight. Build up back strength. Both deads and rows are good for this. Flat back above all else.

Tell that to my buddy Mike Tawfik..
Lever ratios makes everybody's ideal deadlift look different, not everybody can "squat up" a deadlift because they have long legs/short torso, other people can because they have short legs and long torso.
YES OP should straighten out his lower back and try to get his shoulders behind the bar, but unless he has enough weight on the bar it's not going to matter what his technique looks like.Qualifying for long drive contest with 328 yard drive

BTO,
Comparing a seasoned competitor who takes advantages of strategically rounding back to increase forces and lift more is VASTLY different from a newb who is incapable of keeping his back flat even at light weights.
I guarantee you that your buddy is strong enough to keep his back from rounding. He just allows it to happen in order to lift more.
Also, I dont think his rounding is as bad as it seems. The guy obviously has a very developed lower back and that mass there can give the appearance of more rounding then is really occurring.
I dont think there is any comparison here.RAW lifts

Same form issues as with the heavier set.
You'll potentially be able to pull more weight if you can get your legs involved in the lift from the start rather than the bar staying on the floor until your legs are already almost completely straight.
And disregard vids of far-experienced guys who pull heavy weight with less-than- good form; they've earned the right through lots of time over the bar to loosen-up their form because they have learned their own body mechanics. Such vids aren't relevant to a beginner who needs to start out learning textbook form first. No brain, no gain.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Much improved^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
You new job will now be to make sure you maintain the improved version as you gradually add weight to the bar over time. The pattern of motion will eventually become second nature as your CNS learns the exercise. No brain, no gain.

Much better! One thing to look at is your shoulders. You see on your last few reps they start to roll forward a little. That is the first step to rounding your back.
Try to keep your chest 'proud' and shoulders tight during the lift (dont let them roll forward or your back will follow).
Dont worry. Deads are a full body exercise. It takes a while to build the core strength to do them, but you will advance rapidly once you start getting it right. Just dont rush it. Let everything come up to par strength wise. Stick to 3 reps or more. Sets of 5-8 are really good, and helped me make a lot of progress. Anything over 10, tends to get sloppy on form and not something I would recommend.
Good luck.RAW lifts

Great thanks for all the replies you know I have been doing Deads for a while now I know how they should be done but working out alone I guess i focused more on adding weight to the bar and form turned to poop. So it's great to have this site and you all . I will keep form strict and post up when I get back over 300 thanks
