if i make a thread, and i want to check it the next day how do i get back to it? and also if someone replies to a post of mine how do i know and see this??

A couple ways. Subscribe to your thread under thread tools, then you can find it under user cp. Or, click on advanced search and search under posts started by and search your own handle.
