1st Cycle Test E & Deca
I have been working out for about 15 years, but about 2 really consistently. I just turned 30 and that helped me make up my mind to go for it.
I'm 5'7 162lbs. and about 12% bodyfat. I hope to gain about 20lbs. I started this past Monday - 250mg Test E and 250mg Deca (once a week on Mondays). I plan to do this for 10 weeks. I plan to alternate glutes, but we will see. My girl does the injecting. She gave me a bottle of Test Cyp after we were together a while, but I wanted no part of it then.
Niacin 500mg/day had high cholest in the past, but its down now.
PCT-Novadex 40/40/20/20
I eat very well and have made modest gains in the past naturally. I now plan to eat about 300 grams of protein a day.
My routine:
Mon-Chest
Tue-Back
Wed-Legs
Thur-Shoulders
Fri-Arms
Sat & Sun off - maybe some cardio
I had been doing each bodypart two times a week, but decided to cut back for the cycle.

Im pretty sure most people are taking 500mg of test/week and around 400mg/wk of the deca. I have also heard that you want to take a little more test than the deca for various reasons.
I took equipoise instead of deca and that seemed to work well for me. You also said that you are cutting back your workout routine when you start your cycle - why would you want to do that?
and whats up with you lady giving you some test - ha ha.

cuttin back on my workouts
I'm not cutting back in the gym. I just went from working everything 2 times a week to one. Doing this though, I increased the number of sets I'm doing per workout. It gives me more recovery time between workouts.
I liked the girl more when she gave me the bottle of Test. Obviously though, she wants me to grow.
On increasing the test- I have read that in here too. But, since its my first cycle, I wanted to take it easy.

Its a good cycle. I will be doing a similar cycle except running Test at 350mg with Deca at 250mg, and I would run Test 1-2 weeks longer than Deca. Also I would have Arimidex on hand.
Your workout routine looks good, i have split my workout the same way. You can do bodyparts twice a week while on juice because you will be recovering a lot faster, just split it up between morning and night workouts.
Thats cool that your girlfriend gives you a bottle of Test and willing to inject aswell. I wish my girlfriend was like that.

Good luck bro! People advise to up the test level because the deca can make you not so good in the sex department... the higher test levels will keep you ragin tho, so that is why they say up it.

Week 1
Thanks for all the comments.
I had good workouts this week. I do have to make up arms tomorrow because everything was closed Tuesday for Mardi Gras. I've made some strength gains, but nothing remarkable. I didn't expect anything substantial yet since it hasn't kicked in yet. Good pump today though.
I don't know if I can increase the test yet. I want to for what I've heard, but I have 10 weeks worth of amps and thats it. I have to see what I can do. It may not be test E though.

Week 2
Monday started my second week. I increased the Test E to 375 mg and kept the deca at 250.
I haven't seen any remarkable strength gains, but I've gained 7 pounds in the last week. I can certainly tell I'm bigger too. My clothes are getting tight. It seems unlikely to have kicked in already, but it seems to have. I have been eating just over 3000 calories a day and at least 250 grams of protein.
My protein comes from Muscle Milk shakes (with milk) and chicken breasts mainly, sometimes beef. I drink a shake as soon as I wake up, immediately after working out, and just before bed. I also eat about 3 protein bars a day in between normal meals. Things seem to be going well the diet, but the supplements are getting expensive.
The workouts have been good. I've been sore as hell though and not just the glutes.
I'll post some pics soon.

Sounds like an expensive diet, my friend.
Try to cook up some more chicken, and carry it around with you. Plain, cold chicken may sound gross... but you get used to it after about a month. haha

I absolutely love Muscle Milk, but the five pound jugs are $50.00. I am far from cheap and certainly can afford it, but that is just outrageous.

Week 3
Today started the third week. I can see a difference now for sure. I measured myself again tonight after the glute pinch. I have gained at least a half an inch to an inch all over. My weight is now 172 up from 162 on day 1. Getting much stronger too. I've had traps come from outta nowhere.
It feels like I've gained more on waist than anywhere else. I don't really like that. I'm watching my abs disappear and my pants are getting tight. I haven't had a chance to measure my bodyfat again yet.

In the last post the measurement numbers didn't line up properly. The ones on the left are from 2/20 and the ones on the right are from 3/5.
Example: the chest 37 is from 2/20 and the 39 is from 3/5.

Week 4
OK, so today started week 4. I currently weigh 175 lbs. That is +13 lbs since day one. I have certainly put on some muscle. I can barely button some of my pants (put on some fat too) and my shirts are getting tight. I'm starting to get some pimples on my back and torso though.

Update
Week 5 began on Monday. I've been away from the internet world for a few days so I couldn't post. I weigh about 180 now. That's almost 20 pounds so far in 5 weeks. The weight is increasing much slower now than it was in the past few weeks. I think I'm gonna up my calories some more.
Still getting a little acne, but feel good and look much better. I'll take new measurements and pics this weekend. I'll start posting my workouts again tomorrow.

Workout felt good. I'm still getting stronger. I'm gonna up my calories to about 3800 since I've started slowing down gaining weight. I've been eating around 3400cal with 250g of protein.
I started the NO-xplode stuff today. I didn't feel a difference. I'll have to try two scoops tomorrow. I'm still using cell-tech too.
The cell-tech gives me a belly ache and makes me nauseated everytime I take it. Does this happen to anyone else?

Wow man great job thus far. I cant believe youve already put on 20 in week 6. Your test is probably just been kicked in for a couple of weeks now. So your doing excellent. Bodyfat doesnt look like it has gone up considerably. Great job!

I weighed 185 this morning- that is plus 25lbs in almost 7 weeks. I'm wondering if I should take some nolvadex to off some water, but I've read on here that it can slow my gains. If anyone has any input/ experience on this please let me know.
Also, as I've said before, I take cell-tech post workouts. The stuff makes me very nauseated. I don't want to take it anymore. Does anyone know a similar product to celltech that is good? Maybe cellmass or something?

I had to work legs and shoulders today because I missed a day this week. I wouldn't recommend it. I did shoulders first, since legs are my favorite. Great shoulder workout. I've been getting good pumps. Leg workout was mixed, but great pump. Strength has increased remarkably on everything.

exellent first cycle for begimmers, this was my first cycle too, except i only did 250 test e and 300 deca though, gained 25 pounds. good luck!
p.s a girl friend who gets you test.... man i love it, you throw a diamond and that and marry her if you havent allready!!!

Week 7
Monday started week 7 out of 10. I feel good. My weight is a strong 185, that's plus at least 25 lbs. I quit feeling the pins by the third week. All is well and I'm happy as hell with my strength increases. The acne is getting a bit crazy though. I'm gonna probably wait another week and take some tetracycline for it. Also, I'm going next week to get my labs done. This is my first cycle, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'd like to here them.
