    Lifting on my off days?

    i workout 3 days a week, each day i target a diff body part etc... i was wondering if it is ok to do some forearm exercises and shoulder shrugs on my days i don't workout. Thanks.

    why not just include those exercises on the days you lift? you can do shrugs and forearms and it won't hurt you.

    Then they wouldn't be considered off days.

    Also you don't have to limit yourself to training 3x a week. You can easily go 5-6x a week.

    I got huge lifting 3-4 days a week. If you're doing total body workouts with heavy compound exercises that's all you really need to do.
