What kinds of supplements do you give away? Maybe I something I should check out
- Your mindset influences your outcome. It's time to take out phrases like "I can't" or "I don't have time" and replace them with phrases like "I will make the time" and "I will keep working at it until I find a way that works." Success starts with the right mindset and believing in yourself and your dreams.

The main contest you cannot enter yourself in, you have to be nominated from another member (for whatever reason they see fit).
The prize for winning those are a supplement of your choice from the site (I cover the cost/shipping).
I do however do random giveaways here and there in the thread as well of whatever I've got around/feel like giving away.
Last one I did was two gym bags loaded with samples I had.USMC (2009-2013)

Thanks for the support, I'm a believer in karma and with all the wonderful opportunities I've been presented lately through here, I only feel it's right to try and give some back.
Don't be discouraged from checking it out just because it isn't self entry, like I said there are random giveaways that you are free to enter yourself in and can have a chance to score some free stuff.USMC (2009-2013)

Ok thanks. I looked it up and it stands for doctor of philosophy. What that means I have no clue.
I was talking to my gyms old manager who my best friends brother and he said he got accepted to a PhD program. I know he's the coach of a Tennessee Olympic lifting team, and is part of it, and coaches tennis but am unsure what his PhD will be in.My Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=169516313

In the United States, the Ph.D. degree is the highest academic degree awarded by universities in most fields of study.

IMO philosophy basically just represents whatever field your in (Your a "doctor" in the "philosophy" of sports science for example)

To add on, the word philosophy came from the Greek word filosofia(iirc on the spelling), which literally means the love of wisdom. So it doesn't actually mean studying philosophy, but rather the path or way to the knowledge in your particular field. Although, if you look back philosophy is one of the earliest intellectual endeavors and nearly all sciences originally began by philosophical inquiry. Everything is philosophy until you find answers for it, then it becomes a science. IMO, philosophy is one of the most versatile studies, because it is not simply coming to your own perspective, but forging the way to come to that perspective. Since there are no definitive answers in philosophy, it is truly a love of the pursuit of wisdom, even though it is always slightly outside of your reach. One learns it isn't necessarily about being right, but realizing, inspecting, and analyzing the path you took to get there (with that being said, every philosophy person you ever meet will debate you til their blue in the face). Sadly, good luck doing anything with a philosophy degree unless you plan to teach.
