Hard to tell but I think we might be getting another smaller-but-conditioned Kai.
It's a bad strategy, from where I'm standing. I think he should be showing up huge and massive, not trying to outcondition Phil (which, honestly, he's never managed to do). Kai at 90% conditioning and 100% mass is better than Kai at 90% mass and 95% conditioning.
At prejudging his arms looked better than Phil's. At the night show they flattened out. We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.
You can't stop us. You can't hold us back.

He obviously looks incredible but like others have stated I don't see how a smaller even morr ripped Kai stands up to Phil. He loses his size advantage and actually looks smaller than phil on stage. And while his arms are probably taller at the bicep peak, overall Phils are far more massive. That combined with Phils legendary delts and I just don't see it happening for Kai.
Id love to see an improved version of the NY pro Kai go to town with Phil. That would be really really close.☆☆☆υк ¢яєω☆☆☆

He was supposedly 299 a week or two ago...Pretty sure he is still massive while being shredded and conditioning seems to be coming on point.

how does it work then? Not being snide, I genuinely don't have a clue about synthol etc. Just that delt has a similar look to other examples I've seen pointed out.
I'm a huge Kai fan btw. He'd probably be top 3 of all time if it wasn't for his traps and tiny forearms. I still believe he is one of the best ever tho and has done amazing with the genetics he was given.
It's a shame there seems to be NOTHING he can do for those forearms tho. When Phil is your main rival that is really hard to come back from.☆☆☆υк ¢яєω☆☆☆

After going over pics over the year I've come to the conclusion it's the way Kai hits THIS specific pose, every shot of this pose left delt pops more then right delt.
Then every other pose he does they are symmetrical and evenly sized. You can see under his right arm in the second example pic how his lat doesn't seem to be fully flared out, therefore not pushing the rear and medial delt out as far as the left side.
someone message him on ********!When you stop striving for perfection, you might as well be dead.

Way to many assumptions in this thread.
And on the subject of Kai being smaller but more ripped, please correct me if I'm wrong but he pushed Phil a hell of a lot harder last year than the bigger version of himself did in 2011.benevolent vaginal showers? Wow such a wordsmith. That can def happen. I do NOT want the Sahara Desert.

This. For YEARS Kai came into the O huge but lacking conditioning. Everyone said over and over "he needs to just let go of 10 lbs or so and come in ripped!" "when will we see a conditioned Kai at the O???" and so on and so on. Now he looks maybe a bit smaller than his biggest (bloatiest?) but still massive and ripped, so now people want to say "Kai needs to be bigger!! what the f--- is wrong with him!!" Fwiw I prefer the slightly smaller, leaner, more ripped version, even if it turns out that he's reached his mass limit for that look. just MO.
