Simply this...Lizzy was simply trying to give you a depiction of the Brazilian culture based on her experience and knowledge. And I am almost certain she is talking about someone who is born and raised in Brazil VS someone who is Brazilian by decent living in the states. Yes a few of her statements are very general and can apply to any place in the world, but some of your responses are taking what she is trying to say completely out of context. And quite frankly to anyone that has ever traveled or born AND raised in another country,this should make sense. When you have resided in one country then move to a different area, you should be able to tell the difference. There are similarities of course, but for the most part it MAY be vastly different.

And incase you still don't get it, she is right to an extent, although what she is saying does not apply to every single Brazilian or person, but it is one of the things that makes your average Brazilian child different from your average American or any culture. Culture and how a person is raised does have a major effect on how they will deport themselves when it comes to dating/sex.

Just giving a bit of of my opinion on her post and responses, so I hope this at least tickles your thoughts a bit.

I think you're missing the point. Look at the context, which is this thread. She directed her comments at a guy who is baffled that a girl isn't putting out right away. Why is he baffled? because he is used to getting action right away or hearing from his friends who do.
