I've been running the ICF 5x5 for the past 3-4 months and dreamer bulking but starting to hit the wall again. My training sessions are taking 2.5 hours and are really draining. Squats have gone up to 270 5x5, bench 180 5x5, DL 325 1x5. I'm thinking about going to a P/P/L type of routine... thoughts?

I think I might start the log back up, that way I can draw more people to my blog. I've been slacking big time trying to do too many things though...gotta get back in the swing of it. Probably going to eat maintenance for a few weeks since I have no clue what it is right now and document that + training. I'm more consistent when I track here rather than notebook for some reason.

I like resistance training and building a certain amount of muscle, but I'm not a bodybuilder, and I don't think i can really call myself a weight lifter b/c I don't go heavy w/free weights, lol. or can I? I might be at around 190 lbs on certain machines, but I don't know what my 1rm is for those exercises...
I'm trying to write this in a rush- I wanted to include a bunch of supporting pics to show what i mean wrt women in the sport, but I can't now. The pics below, I'm very much into that , and that appreciation extends to competitors like our "gifted" friend in the early stage of his career, and Zyzz. Jeff in the far right of this group photo competed and won in the physique category recently.

There are big differences between natural and unnatural competitors, and people in the amateur vs. pro bodybuilding ranks. I am not into the Jay Cutler look.

Hi Cap! Thanks for explaining. Bodybuilding, to me, encompasses many more facets than just lifting weights. While I would not call myself a bodybuilder, and like you, I don’t lift heavy (at the moment), I would say that I am into bodybuilding and all of its aspects: weight-lifiting, body recomposition, nutrition, dieting/eating methods, supplementation, etc. .
