OK so I'm not dead. Just took the most awesome vacation of my life last week. Me and a friend drove 17 hours straight through to Colorado Springs where my Uncle lives at the Olympic Training Center. He's on the Paralympic Shooting team. Somehow he hooked it up so we stayed in the athlete dorms and could lift at the gym there, oh and all the food all day was free also (since it's meant for athletes). Dear god I have never been surrounded by so many jacked hot girls in my life, I think normal women are forever ruined for me.
This is just the lifting related stuff, we also had one of the most epic partying nights of my life lol.
So first day there after 3 hours ****ty sleep in while my friend drove lol.
everything in kilo plates so it was weird
Bench
up to 297x3 which I think might actually be a pr, not sure if I ever did 300, don't do triples much but i'll take it. @9
308 2x1 first single left arm flared too early and it was slower than I wanted. 2nd single was like @8 lol, blew it up.

up to 572x1 with a bit left in the tank. heaviest I've went since my meet. had 585-590 this day for sure. Was pretty cool a tour group was walkign through and stopped to watch me deadlift, thought I was an olympic athlete lol.
Front Squats
242 4x4
yolo block pulls (they had real blocks so **** it)
496x3
520ish x 2
562x1 i'm much weaker off blocks than the floor so these were all fairly large prs, glutes and low back still toast almost a week later haha
reverse hypers
4x10
HS Row
2x12
2x10
Dumbell shrugs
2x15
1x25
20 minutes incline walking
That was all the lifting we did there. We did get into watch part of the USA Weightlifting practice. Saw all the JTS sponsored guys except donovon ford pretty much. Also female oly lifters.......................... mother of god.

Holy fuk... Sounds like the most epic vacation ever srs. I really hope you banged at least 1 Olympic sloot.
I need to take up some rare niche sport that isn't too physically exhausting, just so I can get my foot in the door there, then get that there free room and board, food, and spend my extra time training for PLing.Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

I think the beltless stiff legs (in oly shoes) are sort of a catch 22 as I feel I brought up my glutes to the point I can push my hips through as I said I noticed on 545 but I feel a tendency to stiff leg everything too much now....

35 minutes incline walking
Goal was to get alot of volume in on regular pulls, which for me I did. Focusing on not letting my hips shoot up, I always pull fairly stiff legged but I think the motor pattern from doing actual stiff legs is messing with my regular pulls, I watched my 595 miss and hips def shot up too early compared to videos when I pulled 585+ in the past. Only going to do 2-3 more weeks of stiff legs after squats max.
Also for the third time I've realized volume on fronts does jack ****, not only am I weaker everytime I go back to doing them heavy, but I lose power off the floor pulling and my backsquat never feels as good either."Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! Feeling fukin strong just need to get technique dialed in. Likely will be the last week of larsen press and incline on 2nd bench day, then transition to 2ct pauses and some wide grips. Hopefully lowbar won't take too long to get used to again, and either this week or next will be the last of the beltless stiff legs so hopefully i get that motor pattern out of my brain fast so I can use the new strength they built on regular pulls"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! Thanks man. I highly doubt that tbh unless I perma bulked. I'd say 385 would be the goal in a year.
I definitely am to the point whre gains are much slower than even a year ago but I think things should be on the upswing in the next month or 2 as I'll be getting back to more specific stuff to work technique to be able to utilize the general strength i've been building"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow!
