Chemistry class earlier today, the conversation went something like this
Teacher: So has anybody not purchased the textbook yet?
Me: Yeah, it's sold out at the bookstore
Teacher: Well you could always buy it online from the publishers website
Me: I would prefer to rent it so I save money
Teacher: Well missing the first two weeks or so of readings might be not be worth the extra money saved
Me: No thanks Jeff.
My teacher's name isn't Jeff by the way, it's Randall. He kinda got pissed
Teacher: What did you just say?
Me: N-no thanks
Teacher: Did you just call me Jeff?
Me: I don't think so (everyone in the class laughed)
Teacher: Do you think this is a joke? You think I want to be here right now where I get told off by kids?
Me: No
Teacher: (He didn't say anything just stared me down and then went to the computer to start the powerpoint and class)
fuark. We have two essays we will have to write for this semester. I think he's gonna take one look at my essay and just give me a phucking F
