CANCELLATION OF ELECTRIC ZOO MUSIC FESTIVAL ON RANDALL�S ISLAND

Due to serious health risks, the Electric Zoo music festival on Randall's Island on Sunday, September 1st has been cancelled. The City recommended cancellation and the event promoters have agreed.

During the first two days of the Electric Zoo music festival, two concert-goers have died and at least four others became critically ill and have been placed in intensive care at area hospitals. Definitive causes of death have not yet been determined, however, both appear to have involved the drug MDMA (ecstasy, or molly). The Electric Zoo organizers have worked with City officials to reduce health risks at this event, but in view of these occurrences, the safest course is to cancel the remaining day of the event

they took everyones water bed bottles and drinks before entrance was allowed

the bar, only other place to get drinks was 100x to busy w/ people buying shtload of liquor to get water


so yea, I can imagine if a place doesn't have their facilities right it could be pretty easy to diez. I blame them tho..shoulda made water more avails..i had to drink that boiling water..i was also drunk..was severely dehydrated, no one else was drinking the bathroom water lol it was way too hot. but a nikka does wat he has to to survive

There is a lot of water refill stations there. Some of the lines to buy water bottles were long but w/e, buy it early..

ive been to a lot of house festivals, and some of them are like this, but ezoo had free water stations. so does edc, going to the orlando one in november. my friend is in new york right now and texted me this morning how pissed he was because he dropped a roll and there is not only free water stations, but basically no line at any of them. he said theres more than enough room to sit down outside the crowd and chill. we went to tomorrowland recently and it was PACKED everywhere on main stage, people all ****ed up on drugs and liq and no one died. they refund your money, but not your hotel cost for the extra day or any of that.

im going to roll at edc orlando, i have my water bottle i bought from them at the event last year and they have refill stations all over the venue, people that walk around and check all the people laying down and sitting down to make sure everyone is fine. the retards that die just go full potato, bad representation of house music festivals.
