None.
My diet isn't deficient and thus I'd get zero benefit from supplements.

You're really missing the point of exactly what supplements are for ... particularly in declaring a "staple", one that you never even took:
If supplements were staples, they wouldn't be supplements.
They be staples.
Supplements supplement staples.
That's kinda their whole f'kin' point.
When one already consumes enough staples, there's not a need left wanting, which requires a ... supplement.Last edited by SkydogGinsberg; 08-30-2013 at 11:14 PM.

How exactly? I eat plenty of eggs (At least 5 a day consistently, none of that throwing yolks out, I buy pure whites in bottles not to do that). I also eat a quality amount of fresh fish like Salmon daily, and was supplementing with a high dose multi even before taking the blood test. What am I lacking and why?

1. Gold Standard Whey Protein, (Cookies and Cream)
2. Universal creatine
3. Optimum Nutrition Bcaa caps

multi vitamin - Just in case my meals miss out something
protein - I can't be bothered to eat that much chicken, a shake is easier!
creatine - as always helped with my recovery
fish oils - everyone recommends taking them
beta alanine - read lots of good reports and have a huge tub which will last forever
also tried lots of other stuff but never really noticed a benefit.

FYI: That can easily be resolved by rational sun exposure, as no dietary vitamin D is required. That said, if you're in an environment where sufficient sun exposure is not possible, and dietary intake is insufficient, then supplementation makes sense.
My diet varies from day to day, as I consume what I'm in the mood for.
That said, my diet is predominantly composed from whole and minimally processed foods. Generally, I consume meat and/or fish, lots of vegetables, lots of dairy, eggs and nuts too. I use copious amounts of olive oil, coconut oil and butter. With this type of food mix, nutrient deficiencies are virtually impossible, especially at my TDEE.

In regards to the poster quoted above : You really must be joking?
As for OP : There are 0 supplements that are staples, as previously stated, they are simply there to aid you in any shortcomings in our daily diet.
Also this is the wrong section in regards to supplement questions, you'd be much better off asking it in the "Supplements" section, and even there the way you worded the question would have been torn apart.
This section is in regards to proper daily nutrition to eliminate the need for supplementation.USMC (2009-2013)
