    5'9 , 87 kg male with 28% bf

Yeah, I know that my bf% is high

    Age: 24 years.

So, while bmi-wise, I'm still in the overweight category and I can fit into most medium sized shirts, I do have fat shrouded around my belly(max deposit), thighs, back and chest. Chest isn't droopy like those fat guys, but it isn't that firm either.

    I want to bring my bf% low(obv)
So, how do I go about it?
I'm currently doing the insanity workout. Currently on week 2. I eat between 1900-2100 cals a day in conjunction with the 5:2 diet (During fast days, I eat close to 600 cals)
Diet is primarily oats, whole wheat bread, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, peanut butter, chicken breast and thighs, eggs, milk, pinto beans, fish, cauliflower, apples, oranges, etc

I've never lifted in my life(hence the high bf %), so should I plan on doing it along with my insanity routine?
I plan on doing another round of insanity after it ends on Oct 25th( alomst 2 months from now)

Can someone help me chalk out a weight lifting routine for me? I'm a newb in this matter.

IMO drop Insanity, do whatever choice of cardio for roughly 30 mins a day at whatever intensity u desire and get your ass in the gym and lift heavy as fuark
When people are doubting you, when people are badgering you to get tanked every weekend, when people claim you're boring, just remember you're doing this for you. No one else. If people are too narrow minded to acknowledge your sacrifice, your blood, sweat and tears, your hard work and your happiness to better yourself as a person, they aren't worth it. Simple as that.

    Hey, woah, no one else?
Thanks, tom. Can you point be toward a particular routine? Like Kris Gethins'?

Strong Lifts starting strength 5x5. Hit that for about 3 months and then incorporate isolated lifts (bicep curls and so on). I'd like to see a 5'9 / 192 lber fit into medium shirts. When I'm 190 lbs I barely fit into Larges and usually go to XL.
    Barely decent crew
