    is it from my workout

    So ive noticed that since I've been lifting my muscles are getting denser but not really any bigger. I'm all for getting stronger but I really want the big bulky look haha is there something I need to change in my workout

    Looks like you have been dropping weight. Is that correct? If it is then you are not goning to build much bigger muscles if you are not gaining weight. The loss of fat covering you muscles is probably why they seem denser but not bigger.

    Hmmm well then I would say keep lifting and eating and see how you feel once you have gained at least 20lbs (just to throw a number out there). 5lbs throughout your entire body won't look like a whole lot.

    eat more...and don't be affraid to eat dirty, just don't over do it. Like ArmyFirFemale said, eat a caloric surplus....losing fat and gaining muscle are counter intuitive...gotta eat alot to build.

    ps. You won't build if you don't get stronger...so get rid of that mindset you have of wanting size over strength...size will come with strength.

    I split my training between several power lifts (mod-high weight, low volume), and a few "bodybuilding" movements (high volume)...if you're only doing a scripted workout you found in a magazine, stop.
