No problem bro. I recommend starting off with becoming familiar with really simple front end coding and a scripting language. Review HTML and CSS. Then when you get the chance look into a scripting language like power shell. Once you become familiar with these I'd say its time to look into object oriented programming languages like Java. That is my approach. Maybe you could dive straight into something like Java, who knows

Great point.
I was leaning towards a cafe, small tap room, or just hole-in-the-wall mom&pop styled diner. I feel like those would all be pretty low start up costs -- but your idea about a food truck is spot on, man.
Working towards improving my cooking/knowledge and getting into brewing more with some local guys who want to open some sort of shop.
That, and school. Sometimes I feel like school is a detractor, but I remind myself that I'm there for the stability of my future, and I've only got 2 more yearsCommon Sense Crew

Yeah bro. Finish that school. . I don't regret finishing up school one bit. There is something about it that opens a lot of new doors in terms of self-realization and also building your network. I think there will be something even bigger than food trucks within the next 5-6 yrs, I just don't know what yet. maybe you'll be the first to it

In on this, great thread idea.
Stopped being a lazy khunt at start of this year, in my final year of a Finance degree, got high distinction average last semester, will replicate that this semester and hopefully get accepted into honours.
Also getting involved with other stuff, voluntary marketing consulting work, uni society work and I'm also learning Spanish.

In. My long-term goal is to get into an executive position with an international construction contractor, become a partner with a solid smaller firm that is going places, or start my own company. I slacked big time back when I was in high school and worked menial, pointless jobs for years before going back to finish my education. Currently in my second year of Construction Engineering with a focus on Project Management.
I have gone from barely showing up during high school a decade ago to:
-4.0 GPA
-5 awards/scholarships so far
-Honor Roll
-Dean's List
-Communications Coordinator with student council
Working my ass off, but it will pay off in the end. I wish I was this driven when I was 18...
