Well the routine i'm doing is a full body circuit and i'm only going 2 rounds, BUT each rep is 4 seconds long. 2 down and 2 up... so painful
bench- 230 2x10
squat- 280 2x10
I haven't done BB row in a few weeks, but the last time i did it it was 285 3x5
deads 315- 2x10
chins, 2x8-10 with 45lb weight
ohp-155 2x10
BB curls (i know it's not compound)-110 2x10
I have this thing where my squats always have to be at least 50lbs more than my bench no matter what and deads at least 25lbs more than squats, otherwise i feel like i'm being lazy.

Ok.. Ill post mine but don't laugh....
bench: 165 5X5
squat: 315 5x5
bb row: no clue
deads: 365 5x5
chins: Zipola, Nada, zero, cero, ゼロ , Null, صفر, 零
Although this doesn't count at all it is my best accomplishment so far.
1260 lb leg press x 4
As the numbers show.. upper body for me is my weakness. It is getting better, but seems all my strength is in the legs.Starting Date: 03/01/2016
Weight: 348 LBS (Start)
Weight: 328 LBS (Current)
Total Loss from start date: 20.0 LBS

Hi guys. I know I missed too many weighins, but im still here. Lost a couple pounds, figuring things out. Etc etc. I like the city run gym. The guys are nice to me. Polite and friendly so im thrilled.
My working lifts are ok. Im sort of sad that I cant progress much, but im the only one holding me back.
Squat 175x5
Bench 115x5
Bor 120x4
Deadlift 235x5
Ive lost ground since the move. Onward and upward.

Think I am lossing lean mass in my lower body since I am not working that part really well for a month now.
Workouts have been crappy, not being able to follow a routine. Feel like spinning wheels all the time.
But have to say my chest looks bigger so atleast got that.
Think the "loss" has to do with waterwight levels, today was one of those morning were I had no belly. Its really strange and messes with me a lot. One day I look fit, next day I look like a fat slob. Its really unstable. Scale changes 6 pounds during the same week. Atleast in a long term view I can see an upward trend.

Ah! That would make sense. Yeah. Messes with me, too. I try not to look to closely or pay to much attention to the days I feel fit/fat. Just keep swimming. Do all the things you know to work and results will follow.
I am sorry that you are having to deal with the quad issue still. Must be so frustrating. I have a shoulder thing so no OHP for me. It bothers my bench a little and well, even my squats...everything really. Should go but don't want to hear what they have to say. I've already done shoulder surgery once. Grrrrrrrrrr
I hate injuries. Totally mess with our plans.

Morning peeps.
Looks Last lfting day of the week. Feeling pretty worn. I don't think i should though. I hoping nothing is wrong with me... I'm thinking because of the shorter days. My body reacts to night time pretty aggressively. Like i always want to go to sleep when it's dark out. I did absolutely nothing sunday besides clean and see my family, yet by 7:30 i was ready for bed lol. we'll see what this weekend brings.

Good morning everyone. First off, I owe everyone here an apology about the spreadsheet. I took on too much lately and have been having trouble keeping up with an increased workload.
My weigh in is 187 for this week.
My motivation is gone, but my commitment and desire remain. Now I just have to prioritize my life to reflect my desires and make decisions that will help me reach my goals even when it's uncomfortable. Not much else to say, just a lot of work I have to do on me still.
How is everyone doing? I've been popping in and out, just not a lot of time.Hi, I'm Crystal :)

i'm ok, crystal. thanks for asking! (took it upon myself to assume you care deeply about how i am doing haha!)
squatting today, and bike riding, too. hope to get over to the bike shop and talk to them about my options to move the seat back some. my pump action is awkward because my seat is too far forward. might try to get one of those posts that bend back to help with that. bike is already bought, so cant take that back. really wish i had tried out the exact bike i bought before ordering it from them! (bought the girls bike... tried out the men's style)
any bicyclists here who have ideas?
going out of town again, and this time it's for pleasure. work for my husband, but the kids and i will just hang out and hopefully my older son will get to hang out with some of his friends from our old town. i plan on inviting them swimming at the hotel pool and then taking them for pizza (diet coke for me!).

Good mornin' everyone . . . it's been a week since my last confession . . . shall we begin?????
It's been a great week, although I can't remember having a crappy one for quite a while. Life's what you make it, I guess. Not too many highs and not to many lows . . . just keepin' on with my trip around the sun!!!!!
So after last week's loss, I figured I'd do a couple of new things to make sure I didn't go into some sort of slump . . . sometimes preventive is better than reactive.
Lets put it this way . . . before last Saturday, I'd never done a deadlift in my life. Never felt the urge, but based on everyone saying it is the be-all and end-all of the best whole body kind of thing, I expanded my routine from five days to six, with one off day, with that being Sunday.
So, I started with the deadlift thing. I got one of the trainers at the gym to come help me out to make sure I was applying my recently gained internet knowledge, and all was good. So I started with the bar and a twenty five on each side. Doing simple sets of ten, I worked up five pounds a set to 65 pounds a side. Now, figuring on doubling that to get the weight, and adding 25 for the bar (I think, because I forgot to ask), and you get a noobie deadlift first time doing nine sets with a max of 155 pounds.
I hated myself on Sunday. There was no DOMS . . . it was friggin' immediate! But I survived enough to get out the leaf blower on Sunday and do the front and back yards!
So I went on with my usual until yesterday. Did a bit extra on arms yesterday morning so I was in the gym for about an hour-twenty. No big thang, but last night when I got home from work, Mrs. GoalPoster was waiting at the door to go to the gym and didn't want to go by herself on account of it being her first time without her personal trainer. So . . . what the hell . . . I went and did deadlifts again. Five sets, maxing out at 185 . . . using the above noted mathamagical formula. Figured that was safe because today was just cardio day . . .
I rocked it my cardio this morning too.
Hopped on the scale this morning for the usual Friday weigh in . . . a buck 94 and sixty cents . . . very cool. I am a happy camper.
Since it's a kinda long post . . . cliff notes: tried deadlifts . . . didn't poop my pants . . . weighed in at 194.6

165.0, +1.4
Not sure what the issue is because I've been staying on track. Weight has been fluctuating a lot all week, so whatever. Only thing to do is brush it off and refocus toward next week's weigh-in!“Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow.”

Morning everyone!
So remember how i said with my current full body routine, i'm doing 3-4 second reps? Well apparently people are taking notice. I got 4 compliments yesterday saying how my form was near perfect. They referred to my reps as "extremely solid reps", and that they don't see to many people push as much weight as i was doing without using any momentum to get the weight up or going down. It made feel good. I'm also coming to terms with the fact that i actually may know what i'm doing in there now! 2 circuits of 9 exercises. each circuit takes about 17 minutes give or take. As simple as it is, i still feel like i'm one set from barfing every time i finish. each week everything goes up 5lbs. so by the end of the year i should be pushing some serious weight.
