Apple has been pissing me off lately with their OS. So i was trying to switch over to Android recently. But apparently you can't get a new phone a few months before your upgrade is available with apple. They literally make you wait out the 2 year contract to the very end. Something i have never had to do when upgrading my phones.

Plus Apple is basically pushing out OS's that make your older iphone obsolete and useless. Since some iphones can't handle the newer OS updates.

Yeh like I said above, the only reason I stick with them is for the simplicity.. I'm too scared to try another phone in case I hate it as much as I did the galaxy.. I've heard that the windows and maybe Nokia phones arent too bad?.. More simple but still more freedom than the iphones?.. Galaxy I felt like I needed a degree to have it work properly.. and I ended up with an $800 phone bill for going over data in the first month I had the galaxy when I had NEVER gone over data before in 2 years on the iPhone.. So i'm guessing settings that I had no idea about etc.. Open to other options though if they are simple phones

If you had an iphone last year you would have ran over your data requirements as well. Since IOS jacked something up and caused all iphones to be pulling data out of space somewhere causing people to go over their limit.

But i can understand your reasoning for simplicity. Which IOS is catered to that crowd.

You could go with the ipad i guess. If all you are doing is webbing around and answering emails. Or buy a cheap laptop that could do the same if not more.

Unless you plan on carting around the device all day, then the pad could be better.

Brb first time ever doing long pause bench press 9 sets of 3 at 250lbs. Though was guna die hard as chit. Followed by 12 sets of dead lifts. This PL chit is a whole different style of training then I'm used to but kind of like it

10x3 and 8x4 are the best days. Doesn't feel bad till I wake up a day later and I'm sore as fuk

I guess the next question is. Do you want a ipad, or a ipad mini?

If you get anything. I would try and hold out until the new 5s comes out. Prices may drop a little on the ipads then, maybe. If Apple is one thing, it's greedy.

I think iPad?.. Yeh everything is super expensive, might also wait till i'm in the US, everything here is a few hundred dollars more expensive

Ipad mini is the second one. It's basically a in-between to the ipad and iphone. You could maybe fit it in a purse easy.

Hmm looking at the comparison specs between the mini and ipad they don't look very different at all just apart from size.. However the normal ipad would easily fit in my handbag anyway.. I can practically live for a week out of my handbag

Barbie I have an iPhone and full size iPad and like both of them. Personally I didn't like the mini. It was a bit small for browsing for me. I either use my phone for a quick search or the full size iPad if I want to view web pages more easily. If you want to use is as an ebook reader though, then the mini would be a good option. The full size and get a bit heavy holding it for a long time. I like that my devices talk to each other. If you're going to stick with an iPhone then another apple device seems like a good option.

Only saw pics of tablets and threw in 2c cents worth...

I had the scary realisation when I upgraded from a iPhone4 to a Samsung Note 2...

My thoughts at the time were - "Oh but I've already got the apps, and i'm used to it..."

Then realized that if I stayed on that attitude I would have to stay with Apple for life. Bit the the bullet and switched and have never looked back. I could honestly never buy an apple product again.

If you plan to watch movies and play games on it at any point the 16:9 aspect ratio on the Nexus is much better than Apples stretched ratios.
