story since OP didnt post it:
http://www.democratandchronicle.com/...renda-HardawayRochester Police Chief James Sheppard said he would reserve a decision about a YouTube video that shows his officers arresting and striking in the head a woman after she tells them she is pregnant.
The video shows several officers trying to arrest a Brenda Hardaway, 21, and her brother, Romengeno, 16, who repeatedly yell to officers and the person taking the video.
The video shows Officer Lucas Krull trying to arrest Brenda Hardaway, 21, and handcuff her hands behind her back. City Court documents indicate that as Rochester police officers were arresting another person outside 384 Seyle Terrace Tuesday afternoon, Hardaway intervened.
Family members said the incident started about 4:30 p.m. when Hardaway was arguing with her mother, Claire Taylor, and nearby residents called police. Hardaway’s brother, Romengeno Hardaway, 16, had also gotten into a dispute with his uncle shortly after, he said.
When police arrived, they started to speak with Romengeno and he told them they had no consent to come onto the property, said Romengeno, a Marshall High School junior.
“At first he grabbed my arm,” he said. “I understand that I was resisting arrest but what was the prior? I didn’t do anything to get arrested for.”
“It was a family dispute and there was no reason for the cops to be there. They had no consent to be on my property. We probably could've handled (our dispute) a little differently.”
olice said in court papers that Brenda intervened and threatened to use a can of pepper spray. But Taylor said she had the pepper spray, not her daughter, but didn’t use it because “I didn’t want them (police) to kill my kids.”
The video picks up the action from there, and Brenda Hardaway is bent over a car parked in the driveway by the side door of the house. Krull is behind her trying to secure her arms when she says “Get off of me, you’re going to kill my baby.”
“She didn’t want to get handcuffed from behind because she’s pregnant and she was afraid of falling forward,” Romengeno said. Family members said she was six months pregnant.
She then tells the person capturing the event on camera, who family members identified as a neighbor named Harry, to “record it cause we’re going to jail.”
Hardaway and Krull continue to struggle and he repeatedly tells her to put her hands behind her back and get on the ground. They move up the driveway toward a front porch, where officers are trying to arrest Romengeno.
When Hardaway and Krull reach the porch, he tells her again to get on the ground and she refuses. He then strikes her in the head and takes her to the ground.
The strike is a technique officers are taught to disorient someone to make a takedown easier, said Mike Mazzeo, president of the police officer’s union, the Locust Club, who defended the officer’s actions.
The video captures about two minutes of the struggle, and is about five minutes long.
In City Court Wednesday morning, Hardaway pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree assault, a felony, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of a noxious material and third-degree menacing, all misdemeanors.
Hardaway is accused of repeatedly resisting arrest, elbowing an officer in the face and causing an injury to his elbow.
Mid-arraignment, Hardaway walked away shaking her head. City Court Judge Melchor Castro instructed her to return until he finished her arraignment. She briefly returned, then pounded her fists on a door as she exited the court room.
“I didn’t even do nothing,” she yelled repeatedly. “I’ve never been in trouble. I didn’t do nothing.”
After several minutes, she walked back in front of Castro and tearfully apologized for her actions. She then again repeatedly denied the charges.
Castro told her he could not hear her case in court Wednesday, and warned her not to act out Friday morning, when she is scheduled to return.
Hardaway was remanded to the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $7,500 cash bail.

I throw around more cop hate than anybody on this forum but this bitch is dumb as bricks.
Most parts of Rochester are ghetto as ****. This is the same area where teenagers were stealing taxi cabs and picking up drunk couples after last call at the bars. Once they had them in the cab one of them would hold the man at knife point and force him to watch his wife/girlfriend get raped (srs).
I'm not sure what they did to get arrested... OR what caused the conflict to escalate to this level but they probably deserved it.
Also, the woman knowingly put her unborn in danger because she resisted arrest. They should throw a child endangerment charge at her.

The trick is to use pain compliance to make them comply, I will never understand why some guys want to wrestle. Wrist lock with pressure will make 99% of people comply.Homerotic Modulator, Envious of Idiocy

Sooooo because she said she was pregnant its a certainty? Sorry but if you can resisting a cop will further his attempt to restrain you. There may have been better ways to control her instead of knocking her on the head though.
If she was actually pregnant you think she would have been smart enough to let them do what they had to doCarb Mal-absorption, no breads, sugary snacks, rice, pasta...live off of 30-40g a day.

Negged OP for mislabeling the title of this thread.
Cops here didn't beat anyone.
Woman obviously was resisting arrest and screaming profanities at the officers. If she simply would have complied and remained calmed while listening to their orders all of that could have been avoided.
Now this was police brutality...

She deserved it. If she had any sort of concern for the well-being of her unborn child, she would have done exactly as told and not struggled at all.

Here's my problem:
If she didn't care enough about her baby by not mouthing off to cops and being belligerent, why should the cops care? Is it really too difficult to just shut the **** up and listen to cops? If you just answered with simple yes and no, this whole ordeal would have been over 2x as fast with no injuries whatsoever. Some of these folks have an artificially inflated ego for some reason and just can't understand to respect any sense of authority. That's the byproduct of not having parents in your household teaching you right from wrong.
If you don't want problems with cops, DONT BREAK THE LAW, SHUT THE **** UP AND LISTEN and DONT ACT LIKE YOU ARE AN ENTITLED LITTLE BITCH AND START ****ING ACTING UP. That would piss ANYONE off. Do you think cops want to wrestle with a dirty hood rat? Really? They would want this chit to be over with faster than anyone else would.

She wasn't behaving well but on what planet is pushing a pregnant woman into a wall, punching her in the head and throwing her belly-down onto concrete the best way to deal with her resisting?
Both were acting badly, but the cop a) acted worse and b) has a moral responsibility to act properly towards people. What happens if she landed more awkwardly and miscarried? Her full weight plus the cop's full weight on top of her isn't inconsiderable.++ Positive Crew ++
