Kai at 299lbs 5 Weeks out

Yeah most guys are 10-20 pounds lighter than they claim. Would be interesting to see a weigh in.

Saw a video with Jay talking about the Olympia lineup. He said that the only guys over 260 on stage will be Dennis Wolf and Big Ramy and maybe even himself. He also said Phil/Kai would end up competing at around 240-250 while he intends to compete at 250-265

Everyone leaves Jay out of the conversation. Jay was "reportedly" 290 a week or so ago. I still think Jay will surprise a lot of people. He might not win but I expect that he will be right up there with Kai and Phil and may push one of them to 3rd...or, yes, albeit, a bit of a long shot, even win.

I hope Kai beats Phil this year. Phil has a great physique obviously, I just don't care for his personality. Just my opinion.

IMO Jay's return is over shadowing Kai at the moment. Phil is perfection and I don't know what more it takes to beat him, as of last year anyways. I look forward to seeing what happens this year, and looking to see Kai come in even better than last year.

I wouldn't be surprised. I remember watching a Palumbo video where he talked about how most guys lie about their weight. This topic always comes down to Kai-whether or not he can really compete at 270/280 plus levels (or in other words, since the weight numbers may not be accurate, 2003-2005 Coleman size). I just don't think its possible without gut problems/water retention because he is shorter than Coleman. The only bodybuilders who we truly know are a certain weight are the 212 division (at least during weigh ins). Problem is right after I'm sure they do everything they can to gain weight and boost size, so they aren't even really accurate during the show.

All Kai has is his size. His back is awesome yes but his waist isn't tiny. His bicep peaks aren't genetically aesthetic. His physique just doesn't have great flow. I'm not saying Kai isn't a great bodybuilder. I'm saying Phil is better.
That is my PERSONAL opinion. Sad that everybody gets so butt hurt over an opinion.

Every year these guys end up looking nearly the exact same as the previous year, do you think they ever get sick of training all year round to look the exact same, some times the conditioning changes but they rarely ever pack on any muscle.

Kai said in his back video that his "days of ballooning up to 300 pounds are over" or something along those lines. He basically said that he didn't really get any heavier that 275 I believe

With Phil being so successful/dominant at the moment, makes me wonder how Levrone in his Prime would stack up today. Phil's physique is like the 2nd coming of Levrone, clavicle width and freaky arms included.
