Correct, After day 1 of the final he was in second only 1 point behind shaw I think. Deadlift was the first event on the 2nd day and he pulled his back whilst doing 400kg.

Will be interesting to watch and see what happened. Shaw must have just been in real good form this year and Z not so much.

I also quite like Lalas and disappointed he didn't do better this year.

It shows what a class act Zydrunas is, comes second, loses by 2/3 points and people assume he wasn't on form. I suppose it his to lose every year, must be tough always being the favourite

Happy that Brian got his 2nd win. 980lbs is a huge weight to deadlift, especially near the end of a tough contest. Thor keeps getting better and is most likely a future WSM, placing so high at such a young age.

BTW, who was that Chinese guy? He wasn't close to the standard required for this contest.

    Any videos yet?

Those 3 are the best, and saying his pulling is second to none is just plain wrong.

I said second to none just to emphasise how good he is at it. But if you go back a few years you'll see he always wins the truck pull, anytime he doesn't he has an injury.

Looking at how his performance declined from event to event on day 2, I can see there was something not right.

Coming third in that event was still very impressive
    Deadlift: 605lbs
    Squat: 550lbs
    Bench: 320lbs
