Fixed. Dreamer bulk doesn't hurt, but TM still = mega gainz without.
Hell of a job kicking off day 1. Mirin the fukc out of the fact that on your first VD, starting conservatively, you ramped up to pretty much ID weight for me after 9 months on TM. Digging all the accessory work too. That's the thing I've neglected too often in my past TM experiences, trying hard to stick with it this time through.Powerlifting Log - http://tinyurl.com/jshaw5

Thanks my man!
You guessed it- basement height. Standing would require locking out the weight of the entire house and that's still a few years off
this
You know your sh!t, especially when it comes to pressing heavy ass barbells
Thanks dude, motivation is through the roof right now, I couldn't wait to get started
Thanks my man! Should be a fun few months
Thanks matey!
Yep, TM is powerlift focused. Lots of gains on the way!
Thanks my man!
my starting numbers look better than they would have right at the end of my cut. The reverse and the rampup to the squat & bench max got some of my lost strength back.
I need to monitor recovery, so I don't want TOO much accessory work, but I need the right moves, especially back work. Getting enough rowing and vertical pulling in will be paramount to my success of this run

You went IN on volume day! Most people do squat, bench, maybe a little of something else. You just went full retard and no doubt will see some smashing benefits. Looks like you crushed it all.

You absolutely plowed day 1 of TM.
Really a fan of starting conservative when you begin a program/cycle. Prevents stalling early IMO and keeps the confidence high.

Lol luckily it was only recovery day so I could do the SS without dying
Thanks homie! No incline, but most of the distance was in 6-7 minutes so I had a decent speed going (at least for me. Brb 10 min mile is my PR)
No idea how the treadmill calcs that anyhow, I don't even know if it takes incline into account
Lol it does make for a grueling session
Didn't feel bad, but light weight recovery day. Superset was just to keep time down. I couldn't be doing that crap during an intense session
Thanks my man! Need that 315 front this winter
Thanks fella! Trying to get a little cardio in here and there. I can't see myself ever training hardcore for it, but if I can get 1-2 little runs in per week I'll be happyPRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Lots of work on recovery day there woody, although I gather you have a lot more in the tank weight wise. I always try to throw in some conditioning after RD. Hasn't done any harm for me! Plus your recovery with all those hikes you do must be through the roof now.

Friday 10.24.2014- Texas Method Week 1: Intensity Day
Solid sesh today!
hit all my top sets no prob. Bench was tougher than anticipated but I don't think I had enough stimuli from volume day, the ramping sets just weren't enough (especially when the top one of 245x5 was a smokeshow)
Squats
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 3
250 x 1
275 x 1
295 x 1
315 x 5
wrecked it
Bench
45 x 10
45 x 10
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 3
250 x 1
275 x 5
tougher than anticipated but never in doubt. Got lopsided on the final rep but I pushed through
Deadlifts
135 x 5
225 x 5
275 x 3
315 x 1
335 x 5
felt like a warmup
Seated OHP
45 x 10
95 x 5
125 x 5
went extra conservative on this to start.
Vids: Led Zep FTW
going to feel them out.
today they felt great so look for a weight bump next timePRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Killer first ID session wood man. Those squats looked easy, and you buried them.
Jelly af at bench starting point. What kind of elbow sleeves are those? Do you have an issue, or just like the warmth similar to wearing knee sleeves?
Pulls looked smooth and fast.
