UPDATE:
Lots of driving yesterday (4hrs down, 4 hrs back).
Scoped out some of the potential neighborhoods before the interview and I love the area. Very rural and country like setting but shopping, restaurants, busier area is just minutes away. Appears to be much less hillbilly presence than Maine which would be nice.
Interview went smooth, the division manger who had flown in was cool as hell, very easy going. Actually has a very similar background to me in the industry, and we're nearly the same age.
They're at the point where they really need to get some experience in there (a manager that knows the industry, not just a suit to sit behind a desk). Someone that can run the equipment, not afraid to jump in and help out etc. I'm a perfect fit for that spot (and I think he knows it).
I'm confident that I'll be getting an offer by week's end, but the question will be if they are willing to pay what it takes. I can't justify moving the family 200 miles (to a more expensive area) for any sort of pay cut. Due to the lack of candidates and my background, I should have room to negotiate if need be.
Fingers are crossed!

Wednesday 10.29.2014: Texas Method Week 2: Recovery Day
Front Squats
45 x 5
135 x 5
175 x 3
210 x 3
210 x 3
210 x 3
Leg DOMS were evident just front squatting the bar. After an awkward 135 set everything fell into place and the DOMS were gone. Smoked the remainder of my work sets no problem
Incline Bench
45 x 10
45 x 10
135 x 5
155 x 5
155 x 5
155 x 5
easy weight but my right shoulder was feeling a little tender. I moved wrong in the middle of the night and pulled it just right. Went easier on these as a precaution
Seated Row
110 x 15
110 x 15
110 x 15
Incline Treadmill
12 min
.760 miles
116.5 cals
just a nice walk on the incline.
Thanks dude! Dungeon gym lift session?? I'm thinking so
with epic BBQ refeed afterwards of course
I'm gonna try like hell!
Thanks dude!
Recovery work today!

Sounds like the interview went well, nice job wood man. Here's hoping you cash in with a nice big offer. I think any time a company is looking to recruit someone from such a long distance, they gotta be ready to pay up.Powerlifting Log - http://tinyurl.com/jshaw5

Thanks dude! a salary PR would be sweet lol
lol do it! Fronts are awesome!
Thanks JJ!
hehe Barn already on location would be a nice touch.
Shoulder feels a bit better today. The delts get tight during the night and sometimes I'll be rolling over in bed while I'm half asleep and tweak one a bit. Hopefully it'll feel ok for benching tomorrow! It hurts more when I lift it overhead vs out in front of me.
If the offer comes through (and if I even need to negotiate). Hopefully it will, the anticipation is killing me!
Thanks my man!
Yea I'm sure they know I'm not gonna pack up and move for a pay cut. It helps too that I already have a solid job.
my body is ready
Thanks dude! whereabouts were you?
Thanks fella! Legs feel right as rain this morning! Anxious to squat 3+ wheels on Friday!PRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

We had an apartment in Brooklyn, yeah there really is a Brooklyn CT. It was almost on the RI border. I have been told it is the sticks of CT but it had all the conveniences of say Windham, but when you are from Maine it is hard to find a place that is really in the sticks. Really hate to lose good workers out of Maine but I hope you get a great offer man!
