Some more huge pulls, both raw and equipped, by strongman competitors and powerlifters. I didn't end with Benni's pull this time: figured it was fair to let someone else share the limelight. Also, after watching this video, I'm sure we can all agree that we need more jets of flame in our powerlifting competitions.

I think competition will be what does it. As soon as Benni happened upon the scene, Bolton put 70+ lbs on his deadlift in no time. I wish they could have been more contemporaries and pushed each other further.Originally Posted by runtocatch

His raw 985 wasn't terribly hitched like some strongman DLs, and I think if he used a little more efficient form he could probably pull more. Awesome! I made it all the way to 145lbs before someone bettered my dead lift. Maybe I will train dead lift next year.
