Quick history lesson:
By D-Day 157 German divisions were stationed in the Soviet Union, 6 in Finland, 12 in Norway, 6 in Denmark, 9 in Germany, 21 in the Balkans, 26 in Italy and 59 in France, Belgium and the Netherlands
The United States was barely able to eek out a beach head at Normandy, and suffered terrible casualties to do so. Imagine if There were another 157 divisions (10,000-15,000 men per division) at the time of a US led invasion. It would have been a slaughter. No way the US would have ever been able to crack fortress Europe. It likely would have progressed into a stalemate. Germany had its own nuclear weapons development program in the works during WWII. Likely if they held out longer both sides would have had the bomb, and then it would have gotten ugly quick.

The U.S. had vastly superior naval and airforce capabilities. They had superior industry, superior resources, superior funding, etc.
Germany couldn't even invade Britain, so them crossing the Atlantic to invade the U.S. would be a joke.
Were you to put both armies right beside each other in the open field, and sure, Gemany would defeat the Americans.
In any other scenario, America wins a 1v1 war. Anyone who thinks otherwise, with the first line in mind, is delusional.

If the Americans had attacked Germany at its prime, or at the beginning of WWII, instead of 2 years later, when it officially entered the war, then the American causalities may have been a lot more than what was recorded. By the time USA entered the war, there were already over 15 countries fighting the Axis, spreading their military thin, but still dominating on almost all fronts.
Imagine if all of these efforts had been focused at 1 country at a time. It would of been utter and complete domination.Bench 365

Really? The Luftwafa owned the American air force. The Germans invented the first jet fighter aircraft and it saw service in WW2... The Germans also had some of the most insane destroyers and submarines of the time period. Hitler had invented an intercontinental bomber for the sole purpose of bombing the hell out of the US and for dropping troops and supplies in. I am sorry breh, I hate what the Germans did and I have many family memebers that died at the hand of German Nazi's but im just being real... America would get destroyed 1 v 1

America would win, woudn't even be close. People need to look at the size of the US Pacific fleet in WW2
"At its peak, the U.S. Navy was operating 6,768 ships on V-J Day in August 1945, including 28 aircraft carriers, 23 battleships, 71 escort carriers, 72 cruisers, over 232 submarines, 377 destroyers, and thousands of amphibious, supply and auxiliary ships"PC Master Race

It would be a stalemate. Germany wouldn't be able to invade US and the US wouldn't be able to invade Germany.

US entered the war much later which allowed us to have a significant edge. US v. Germany 1 v 1 at start of war Germany would win hands down.
