    Sounds about right. The old 4.6's make 260 at the crank and newer ones made 300.

    my 2001 bullitt 4.6 2V with JLT CAI, Bassani exhaust, and BAMA tune made 254 rwhp and 289rwtq on the dyno. Its amazing how these 2015 2.3L EcoBoost mustangs stock are making 271 rwhp and 290 rwtq. With an aftermarket down pipe, exhaust, intake, E85, and some tuning i can see these cars at the mid to high 300's range if not more.

    I haven't heard it yet but nothing would make it sound like a v8.

    Those aftermarket exhausts will improve it though I'd bet.

    If this thing sounds anything like a Subaru WRX/STI, It'll be awesome.

    Im really starting to like the ecoboost 4cyl. Which surprises me because im one of those v8 or bust in a Mustang. I cant wait until these things start getting modded and tuned. It wont be long until we start seeing these 4cyl motors making 400RWHP

    From what I've read so far, they're slugs out of the box but a tune wakes them up. An intake/tune/exhaust will make these cars very fun to drive

    It's good to see that it's not really that far off pace of those top 3 cars. I'm not going to lie though, after the Mustang vs. Camaro comparison the other day, I really kind of hate MotorTrend. I think they fabricate out comes and that Randy Pobst is kind of bitchy.

    Ah I just watched that earlier. I only watched thru the mustang portion but he really liked the camaro driving characteristics but admitted the interior of the mustang was much better.

    I'll watch it more closely at some point not on my mobile, but I wouldn't consider a camaro even because I'm on my third mustang and have liked them all for what they are. (02 v6, 07 gt, 11 v6)

    Yeah, he said a couple nice things about the mustang, but he(and MotorTrend in general) seem to always have some bias. He seems to always change his mind and contradict himself, plus I still lol at the head of SRT telling Rnady Pobst that he's afraid to drive cars to their full potential.

    Motortrend keeps doing the same thing (having new cars lose to older cars) to stir up more views on their site. They did the same thing with the Viper vs ZR1. Not to say the Camaro 1LE isn't a good car, but it's more track oriented than the Performance Pack for the GT.

    I wanna see a straight '15 GT vs Ecoboost (both manual performance packs) on that track. I think the 15 gt was three seconds faster but I didn't find a source I was comfortable with yet, and the Ecoboost was an auto so F all that.

    The longer I wait the more likely I am to get a 15 gt premium with performance package but I do like the idea of the Ecoboost.

    Nah I'm not at that point yet. I just got an 11 v6 a few months ago. I wanted to hold out for a 15 but the timing wasn't right yet.

    Livernois made 322/336 TUNE ONLY with the ecoboost. They're tune isn't complete yet. I could see close to 400 with FBO and e85/meth. 425-430 with a modified stock turbo. I'd love to see FP make a gree/red/white/black out of one of these.

    local dealership got in 2 slate gray 2015s. One is a 5.0 and the other is the 2.3l. Both stickered at just under 33.

    They look awesome in person with the exception of the ****ed up sloping rear trunk lid. The cabin looks pretty tight as well, the cabin and pillar post look like broad shoulder drives might have trouble like in the 99-03s. Anyone getting one?
