Ya he was dumb. Sounds like he got it from being owed money. Drug money was my impression.

It had a faux manual shifter. My first clue was no clutch pedal though...

i need to invest in some ramps.

I've only owned lifted 4x4s for never really needed to get ramps and my jacks are lost in the hell hole of my storage container.

any of you use ramps? clearance issues?

finally got the engine cleaned up.

I am going to give it another coat of tire wax. Some spots just won't 'shine' yet.

Night and day difference. I'm sure you can see certain things that the picture isn't picking up, but it looks MUCH better.

I think I want the Ecoboost, with performance package, recaro seats and premium sound. Color though, I really want grabber blue, but might go orange since that isn't an option

Which cams ?

How much did it cost to get them installed?

I want cams just for the sound, but for the price its not worth the hp gains in my opinion. Around here for cams/install its around $1,800. For 25-30ish hp its not worth it to me. I rather spend 3,000 on a department of boost supercharger kit and gain 130-150hp and be done.

The cams are Frpp Hotrod cams. 725 dollars for the cams, plus 500 to have them installed. They won't net you much poer without supporting mods either. Longtubes are pretty much a must if you wanna make power with theses cams .30 rwhp at most WITH them.Maybe 10 with an otherwise stock motor.My lis of modsis as follows..This is actually my wifes car lol.Stock gears 3.31 and stall
Cmcv delete plates
Full pypes exhaust
Steeda underdrive pulleys
Jlt series 3 cai
bama tuner with 93 race tune
Frpp hotrod cams
Still averges 25 mpg at 65mph on the hwy and zero loss of driveablity.My wife gets a lot of questions/looks pulling up in a car sounding like this

I don't know about the 4.6 for sure, but if you just want cams for the sound....you can actually just get a ghost cam tune and call it a day. Think it's like $50-$75 in addition to a regular tune.

An h pipe and an x pipe are two different versions of the same thing. One has the exhuast cross over in an X and one in H...hence the name. Basically, there's no such thing as an x/h pipe. Well....there is the mac prochamber which in KINDA both, but not really.

Check out American muscle..They have a lot of sound clips of different exhaust setups. Keep in mind axle back exhausts are purely for sound. Full systems make power

I plan on getting the Mats and the shifter ASAP
The headers and the exhaust- at around January
The intake and the tuner at around the spring
taillights and the deck lid at around August of next year.

Super charger- who knows

But, i want to get it.

Why shorty headers?

Get long tubes with an o/r x....

Skip that supercharger too

Google search, department of boost

It's a whipple off of a gt 500. It can produce 450hp-650hp. Depends which pulley you put on it. Our 3v's can't handle much more than 475-490 with stock internals. Department of boost will sell the whole kit for 3-3,500. Everything you'll need besides labor. It's the best route if you don't want to change internals. If you're going to spend 5, 6, 7, or 8,000 on a supercharger or turbo you might as well start with a block that can handle 700-1,000hp.

The throttle response is insane. I never dreamed it'd make such a difference. Even at idle it sounds like it's got more pep, which it does of course.

i'd be sweet with 600 horse power and, a good 0-60 (hopefully in the sub 3s). Link me to a proper kit when you can brah (boost kit). Does the shorty vs long headers make much of a difference?
