What I'm hoping...enough changes to be different than every other black GT floating around, but not obnoxious.
Yeah, I'm hoping the intake will keep me ahead of my friend's Scat Pack Challenger (cammed). But we'll see...I could walk his other one, but I'm not sure how much help a cam gives those things. And I'm gonna have to stick with the life time tunes by Bama off the bat, but I'll see about changing over to AED after the first of the year. I'm hearing some decent numbers being tossed around and comparing the 2018 intake to a ported boss with out as much of the low end torque loss....but seriously, if I'm racing the car, I'm not overly worried about the lower RPM TQ numbers. So we'll see what my poorman's boss intake gets me
And dang man...If you want to trade 2018 "intakes", you just let me know lol.

I had been running a ported boss with 100 shot for a couple of years prior to going whipple... even when I was just running on motor I never felt this "loss of torque" the internet keeps claiming... I mean maybe if I put it on the dyno and compared it back to back... maybe it would show up but for the Boss intake losing so much torque my fkn tires never did get the memo...
That said I have a Ported Boss intake , Accufab TB , Custom 4" Steeda CAI , 47lb injectors , and a NX plate kit (entire kit from billet bottle brackets to the plate..) that is off of the car and needs to be relocated out of my garage... Anybody is interested let me know... ill give a better price if somebody picks up everything..6'2" @ 247lbs

LOL... yeah I am probably in the same FB group. It got plain retarded right when those things dropped...They are a great low buck mod in comparison to a CJ... but CJ is King of the N/A Coyote intakes. And again... I enjoy how many people discount the Boss intake these days...granted my car was probably taken a little further than most do with bolt on's and weight saving... But I cant say that I ever got my a$$ drug by a CJ car on motor...and if I did think it was going to be a problem I would just bump the nitrous until it wasn't a problem. I don't fight fair on the street.

I pretty much just avoid the forums/online for technical discussion. They're cancer or just vendors selling stuff (but the vendors are still awesome lol).
I am trying to locate a spare s550 chassis to do my dirty bidding with for some sort of circuit track prep. I just want to make the best performing car reasonably possible on the chassis in my garage.Boycott foodservice industry crew

Yeah, that's what I don't get. Sure, you may have seen some torque loss in the lower RPMs, but if you didn't see the curve or numbers from a dyno sheet....most people would never feel the difference. And who is worried about the lower RPM range when the only time you'll be impacted by that is during normal daily driving. Personally, its not going to bother me...so I'm not worried if I drop a few points.

Freak'n Americanmuscle.com Ordered that grill...didn't say anything on the page about being on back order. Chatted one of their contacts cause the part still showed processing. Apparently it's not scheduled to ship until the 29th? Headlights came in busted so I had to send them back and waiting on the replacements, but crap I'm not going to put the headlights in then turn around and basically take everything apart again for the grill.
I think I'm going to drop even looking at them for parts ever again after this. Not catastrophic, but frustrating.

OK, need some input from you guys....
I bought a 2018 intake manifold and submitted a turn revision request for it through Bama (yes, I know...but I'm supposed to have the Tunes for Life and it was what I bought at the time). Ten days after I submitted, I received the following e-mail from them.
(American Muscle Tuning)
Jun 15, 11:21 AM EDT
Hello, Tom from Bama Performance here, before we can finish writing tunes for your vehicle we need to inform you that we do not support the 18 manifold on anything but the 18 at this point in time, We have not conducted proper R&D testing of this manifold to fit on anything other than the 18. If you can return to the stock manifold we can get tunes out for you I look forward to tuning your vehicle.

I get that they haven't done R&D....but I'm assuming when other tuners receive a request from someone with minimal modifications (CAI, Intake manifold, x-pipe, axl back) that they're able to datalog and work with the customer to get a tune? That's supposed to be how this crap works, right?
So here I am..I've dumped a decent amount of money (for me) here over the past couple of weeks to do some crap to the car...tap is dry for more funds right now...and I can't get a tune cause these dip****s won't datalog with me to get a tune?
To me...I bought tunes for life, I don't have anything crazy done to the car, they should be working with me....Am I off in my thinking here?"Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard"

Any ideas? Driveline clunk somewhere, most likely rear end. Mainly noticeable if I lug it low rpm. Not a u joint, since I just recently put in a new aluminium driveshaft. Car is a 92 fox. 31 spline axles and center section.

I love the SN95's. Looks good, and very easy to mod. Well, I mean it's somewhat more expensive to mod than a 2011-2018 Coyote since you literally have to build an entire engine.
However, a Dart block or Boss block 351 stroked to 427 cubic inches with some nice 225 AFR or some big TEA Port Trick Flow heads and you can be around 600 rwhp N/A.
3200 pound race weight is easy too.

Alright...took a quick pic a couple of weeks ago.
2011 GT with 2015+ style tail lights and RTR rear deck lid (faux gas cap delete).
I'm still waiting on the Eleanor grille to get here then I'll install that and the smoked headlights. I'll also put the GT500 rear valence and Kooks axle back on probably at the same time. Just trying to find time.Last edited by cgc; 06-29-2018 at 01:13 PM.

Any of you guys with the 11-15s replace that 8" door speaker in your Mustang?
if so, what speaker did you use? The Kicker most go with, or did you find another that works you like?
I'm planning on replacing all of the 6x8s and was considering the 8" while I was at it."Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard"
