I am gonna have it inspected at the local bmw stealership anyways.but at the same time I still need to know what look out for so that I won't go through all this inspection hassle if the car is not worthy in the first place.
By windows do you mean the regulators or weather stripping? What in other sports is called talent,in bodybuilding is called genetics.

Window levelers? The only real issues with BMW windows are their regulators - and they either work or they don't. There's no 'checking' them. VANOS seals will require you to take the valve cover gasket off (which you should probably replace anyways) to inspect. Beisan makes fantastic VANOS seals. Cooling system either works or it doesn't - ask if anything has been replaced. Definitely check rear subframe, as well as oil filter housing gasket. Front lower control arm bushings, springs, tie rods, & rear trailing arm bushings should all be on your list to check out too.

Map 5 has the potential to run stronger assuming conditions allow for it, otherwise Map 1 will give you the same consistent increase in power across the board. If you have the usb cable and a laptop, get some logs of maps 1 and 5 to compare. Remember Map 5 needs 3 adaptation runs (3rd gear 2k-redline, traction control off) in order to fully adapt to the conditions and get the best performance.
Enjoy!

Sorry I wasn't super clear, you need to make 3 pulls in 3rd gear from 2k to redline, keep traction control off when you do it. Each time you should feel the car start to feel a bit faster or more consistent. Turn on the gauge hijacking to watch your boost and timing and you'll see those gauges fluctuate less with each adaptation run.
As for questions about other mods, I highly recommend a front mount intercooler and downpipe depending on your state's emissions testing. Thrown on a cheap dual cone intake for sound as well, that is a beautiful daily setup. Look into an oil catch can or upgraded PCV for longevity, and a chargepipe for peace of mind.
If you haven't browsed around, there are a couple good forums for these cars, each one favors different types of community members, so learn to browse each with a grain of salt. Enjoy!

That was short lived. Damnit. The dealers site said it had all those packages on it when it actually only had the cold weather package. Such a bummer! Oh well, there is always a deal out there and will keep looking. But yes, I am for sure looking for an F30. The N55 is a stellar motor and ready to get it haha. I just got out of a 2005 S4 that I totaled on my way to the air port to go on my honeymoon so I have nothing but time in searching.

Picking up my new custom order M235i today! Very excited... Estoril blue, Manual trans, sunroof delete, premium ,cold weather and the m performance exhaust.
Thanks for the advice breh. I have done a few DE events and some autocrosses in my 944 so I know my limits a little bit (I am by no means a real race driver at all) but I don't plan on pushing this car on the street whatsoever.
