At 16 you should be eating lots of everything. You should not be concerned about sugar or salts, unless you have been told to do so by a physician or your parents. I like where your head is at as far as the push up and sit ups are concerned. You should be old enough to add in some weight training, using proper form and plenty of compound movements i.e. Squats, deadlifts, benchpress, Dumbbell rows, pull ups, dips. Start light, get your form down and your core built up, then progress to heavier weights, and eat, eat, eat.

You should seek professional help from a doctor honestly. In general any diet based solely upon foods themselves is a terrible approach to a healthy nutrition plan. Your body's needs are based on macros, micros, calories, and vitamins and a proper nutriont plan takes this into consideration. You need to eat and train to support your goals, but you also need to keep in mind your body is still developing. Due to your age I do not feel comfortable offering you any more in depth adivse than I already have. Please seek proper help and you can risk serious harm to your body's development and health at this age.

Feel free to refute it, keep in mind I said "In general." People come in here posting a list of foods, serving sizes, and times to eat all of the time, its a crap approach GENERALLY filled with macro and micro nutrient deficiencies. Its not all about the names of the foods your eat, its about calories, macros, micros, and vitamins not "a list of food and times." I can tell for certain that the OP has a diet filled with nutritional voids if those are the only foods he eats.

OP please understand that there are different approaches to nutrition, at your age you should not be focused on weight loss, unless you are overly obese and have been directed to do so by a physician. Please read the stickies and learn the basics of nutrition. At your age you should be eating whatever you want allthough avoiding huge amounts of soft drinks and candy, and replacing them with whole foods will help you in the long run and make you feel better. your diet should consist of many different foods, not just chicken shrimp and vegetables, unless that is your personal preferance. Please do not overthink nutrition at this point in your life, eat what you want and train hard.

OP would still need to eat things in moderation.
Can't just go like just carbs, no protein and no fats, nomsayin.
And OP would still need to think that fiber is important, and veggies too for micros.
Eat balanced meals is key when you don't count macros and you're young.Retired 74kg PL Open Division (3 meets)
