Exclamation End of August Perky Jerky Giveaway: The Ocho

For the month of August we’re celebrating our new flavors on BodyBuilding.com by giving members the opportunity to win an Ocho pack! The Ocho contains all eight of our flavors: we have Beef and Turkey in Hot & Bothered, Sweet & Spicy, Teriyaki, and Original. Whether you’re a sucker for one or a fan of them all, you can score one of these three Ocho’s by doing two things:

    1. Tell us when you like to get your protein fix. Post-workout, on the go, between classes? Let us know how you take your protein to the fullest.

    2. Agree to provide a log for us in exchange for a shiny new Ocho. Winners must provide a log about taste, nutrition, and overall favorite flavor of Perky Jerky – hard to choose but you have to pick one.

The Three winners of the Ocho pack will be announced on August 30th.

I love to take my protein in the morning. I usually take it with a lot of water to help fill my stomach up, or mix it in with some pancake powder to make jeff alberts cakes. Fills me up all the time!

Love perky jerky and would love to log it!

I like to get my protein fix after my workouts while I wait for dinner time, while im in class often straight from the gym need a quick protein snack. don't always have access to a shake because ill go straight from the gym to class then hunger kicks in, they have beef jerky in our vending machines, but its not as good as perky jerky! ill take a protein shake an hour or two before workout if I haven't ate yet and don't want to be full, jerky is good too. and I love it at night for a snack when I need some extra protein and no more carbs.

    2. Agree to provide a log for us in exchange for a shiny new Ocho. Winners must provide a log about taste, nutrition, and overall favorite flavor of Perky Jerky – hard to choose but you have to pick one.

yes I would do a log for the perky jerky ocho in all areas and an overall favorite, would love to try the new flavors!

Typically get my protein fix during class, and post-workout. And obviously from meals

In on log, no problem there. Hope you don't mind if my log would consist of eating all 8 bags in one sitting

Good luck to all who apply!

I like to get my protein fix whenever I can but, starting August 28th, I will be on the go a lot. Between work, commuting to school, and being at school for long periods (senior year), I will need something very portable, easy, quick, and tasty to eat while at class, travelling to class, or even in the library. I hate protein shakes, I'd rather cook with protein powder, and it is hard to just whip out a chicken breast in the middle of class, so this would be ideal. Especially with the ending date of the promo

    1. I get my protein in when I can - try to aim for 5-6 meals a day. Mix of meat and shakes given my busy schedule. Probably eat the most protein in the evening after my workout/around dinner.

    2. Would love to log the product - I was lucky enough to try and enjoy the beef and turkey Perky Jerky samples earlier this summer, I love me some jerky, and the flavoring sounds delicious.

Typically get my protein fix during class, and post-workout. And obviously from meals

In on log, no problem there. Hope you don't mind if my log would consist of eating all 8 bags in one sitting

Good luck to all who apply!

I get my protein post workout. I workout fasted and then consume mass quantities of food. I lile to get as much of my protein in that first meal as possible. Jerky is my go to snack. I like to finish off my meal with a couple sticks. Almost like desert!

I would have no problems logging.

Well I eat protein throughout the day at different times, but this could come in handy to have with my Quest bars as a "snack" at work. I could keep these at my desk. I work long hours and only get out for lunch when I have a business meeting lunch scheduled. Otherwise I eat at my desk and this would definitely come in handy in between meals!

    Would review/log

Having previously tried and reviewed Perky Jerky...I'm definitely in on this. Stuff tastes SPOT-ON.

12am-12pm and 12pm-12am are all optimal times for a quick protein fix for me serious. I literally remember one time I got up from my bed at 3am to nuke and eat 2 quest bars

Would definitely review again if given the chance!

My target protein intake for the day is 191-239g per kg of bodyweight. I've always like getting a little extra protein in after workouts.

I agree to log (taste, nutrition, and overall favorite flavor of Perky Jerky) for you in exchange for an Ocho pack.
