I gotta say, it was pretty cool to see that question put to rest like that. I knew BJJ was very applicable to real fights, but I wouldn't have guessed it could so easily overcome an enormous size and strength differential like that. Bodybuilder had 100lb on him and it still wasn't even close. BJJ guy didn't even look like he broke a sweat, it was like he wasn't even trying.

are you kidding? of course he had the strength/power but "a bit" of training won't overcome someone who has been training his whole life. Close in fighting = you never had your car/winnings winning(end: fast and furious). If that dude broke his arm wit that arm bar, it wouldn't be much longer before he literally killed him in a battle of life and death. Most people don't see the real world application of bjj

A bjj master can even take on a huge dude who is also a fighter, like minotauro vs bob sapp. *******.

He considers training his triceps training for MMA? Jeez if only Anderson Silva had been pushing weights all those years he could have skipped all those training camps. Sure if you are a big skilled guy it can help you-but generally that size will work against you if it goes beyond the first round-often a couple of minutes & throwing punches is going to gas you out pretty fast-that is if you are not already on your back because you have no take down defence & no skills once you are on your back with a multi-skilled guy looking to tap you.

Yeah but that guy is a professional and does this for a living, he has taken part in hundreds of fights so to be able to perform skills like those.
inb4 miscers who train bjj think that they can perform just like him. I got sum bad news bro, the only thing you will be doing is giving your opponent a bj and he wont even be gay bro.

That bjj guy is also a pro. He's not the average guy that just trains a few days a week, that you would see in a bar. That bodybuilder would probably wreck one of those guys, especially in a room where you can't just roll around freely like on that huge mat. Bjj is cool for a hobby and mma fights but for a street fight, I'll take boxing or muay thai. Damn pulling guard on someone in the street so all his friends can come stomp my ass and get my polo shirt dirty :P
