Follow the directions on the AnimalPaks. Use a packet 30 minutes after a good pre-workout meal. That will let those pills do what they're supposed to do and you'll be peein' yellow for the rest of the day. You'll notice an energy boost for your workout and it will help reduce your recovery time.
On a non-workout day do what A-rod said to do with multies: use a packet with a big meal. If you've got some crap to do that day, then take one in the morning. If not, you might want to wait until after dinner so all those vitamins will be in you when you're asleep, which is another point: those vitamines can be used quite well when your asleep to reduce your recovery time even further.
