The "Roscoe" burger from a recent pop-up restaurant I checked out.
Waffle bun, maple syrup sriracha hot sauce, fried slice of jack cheese, fried bacon-encrusted chicken thigh patty, and special sauce. On the side I have "GOOD fries"--sour cream, grilled onions, raw red onions, hand-cut fries, kimchi chips, w/ some aioli.
Also pictured are kimchi "chips"
Also picked up some avocado fries (w/ lemon garlic aioli) and the "GOOD burger"--a cheeseburger with a bacon-encrusted patty, aged cheddar, "GOOD sauce", guac, and your usual burger veggies.
Fat pizza from a joint near my house. This was the 20"--after finishing my cut, I'm going to attempt their 28" solo. Will post vid when it happens.
Went to a North Korean refugee's restaurant for some NK eats
Literally a chicken steamed whole w/ a bit of salt. Very macro friendly, but not very exciting. The red sauce is a garlic based sauce which over-powered the main dish--as most Korean condiments tend to do :/ Still good, though.
My buddy and I also shelled out for some dumplings. Your typical minced pork Korean dumplings--but I have to admit they were better than average. Pretty good kimchi, a garlic paste, chilis. Mix all that stuff up and eat it with the dumplings and chicken.
Apologize for the bones in the pic. Anyway, rounded out the meal with a palate cleansing bowl of Korean buckwheat noodles called makguksu. Like the chicken, this bowl was pretty bland, even compared to your typical bowl of makguksu which tends to be pretty weak in flavor. Very refreshing though with very little of the vinegary taste I normally associate w/ the dish.
Interesting meal. You're nuts, man. And I can't help you. Probably because I'm just a simple dude!

beeeauuuutttiiiifulll!
After I saw someone posted the brownie Muddie Buddies, I went out looking for them. Couldn't find the brownie variety, but found these two:
Eh, not that good actually. The problem with Muddie Buddies though is once you start eating them, it's really hard to stop..Last edited by barbrox; 04-11-2014 at 04:48 PM.

I have posted a few pics, and I'm on a cut.
Agree though, it's heart-crushing when people post 10 pictures of different dishes, and they all look HNNNNG.
I guess I could just stop reading this thread if I didn't want the agony. But it's also a good source of culinary inspiration.

I routinely make various ferments which store for months btw, & haven't posted here in a long time. I made slaw last night & wheat beer, here's a step by step picture collage thing to get an idea of how it's done. Raw home made food is the GOAT, sauerkraut, slaw & other ferments are in a world class of their own, nothing tastes like it that you can buy.

It's not so much that I think people should eat a restrictive diet, it's more the fact that this thread appears to favor "exciting, heavy" meals significantly more than simple "broccoli and eggs" ones. I guess because those don't lend themselves to exciting pictures. Nothing against that! Just an observation. Keep the photos coming, everyone.
