Phuckin pissed. Neighbor's dog killed my chickens. What do?

Phucking haven't had them for more than 3weeks. First day outside of the run without me there, and the phucking neighbors dog comes down and kills all four of them. Found 2 dead chickens next to their front door.

Nows its only me and this other house on 13 acres. I have a dog, but he stays out of their yard. They let their dog run free 24/7, and usually my dog keeps it out of my yard.

What do? Already went and talked to her. Told her I'd give her a week to figure something out, but I'd have new chickens by then.

Also, I was showing my dog the dead chickens body, and this lil phucker comes out of no where and jumps my dog. Of course my dog won, but still, the phucking nerve? I went home and grabbed my 27 and looked for the dog, but it had already ran home.

might not even kill it, even if it does it's gonna get incredibly sick and be in misery until it's organs shut down

you don't make an animal as dumb as a dog suffer for doing what it's instinctively born to do, hunt. get paid for your chickens by your neighbor and if it happens again cross that bridge then. even if it comes down to shooting it you better make damn sure you kill it first shot, bleeding out is just as bad as poisoning.

Assuming you're in the US, I'm guessing you have a right to defend your property and shoot the dog. Antifreeze might be risky if your own dog drinks it.
