Why are fish halal?

Any living creature that feels pain should not be eaten. Considering that fish and aquatic animals are suffocated to death then there is nothing to suggest that they are halal. Am I wrong?

how can you call yourself a muslim, when you sweep riba under the rug like its nothing? how can you expect your duas, prayers, fast, recitation of the quran to be accepted when you inundate yourself with riba? of course praying and learning the language should be of utmost importance, but regarding riba like its just your average sin is foolish

Because if not (and it doesn't) you should refrain from questioning someones status as a muslim based on your assumptions of their views on a matter, as the sister never said she was okay with riba or its practice.

Establishing the salat is of supreme importance.


Ofcourse, I say that not to diminish the sinful nature of anything else you mentioned and riba is a much bigger problem than some may think, but establishing the prayer is a pillar of this religion. It is a duty of the believer and a conduit for Allah's forgiveness.

Agreed its very very important but surely being a good human with a good character comes first?i say this purely because i see so many people who pray but have bad character. Their excuse is always the same. "We are weak humans bro, allah forgives so if you pray and ask hell forgive" its like a vicious circle, you keep sinning because you think your doing the most impotrtant part of the deen therefore god will forgive. Not that different from the whole christian thing about how jesus died for our sins. The difference is that well get forgiven as soon as we do a few hopscotches.

I dont know how i feel about this.

Its a shame that they may demolish it but i dont really blame them. The Haram needs expanding.

Also, theres ALOT of people who go to the holy cities and start hogging places that are either related to the prophet or the sahaba. People literally worship them.srs. So yeah, i can see why the gov sees no qualms in demolishing certain sights but then again, it would be great if they preserved these places, so level headed muslims like us could go visit them.
