''real guys'', what....?
3:10, thank you Vlad.
Thanks to big names like Arnold, the movie won't go unnoticed.
inb4 every casual gym goer wants to become a pro bodybuilder after watching the movie.
And considering the movie is promoting the 2013 Mr.O, some of the money could go into a (atleast) 720p stream...please?

I'm very much looking forward to this film. I might actually go to the theater to see this one. It's been years since I've gone to a movie theater, I think the last time was when 300 came out.
Really cool to see the media interviewing people about the film.RPS Annihilation, 10-18-14, 220 amateur, raw, no knee wraps or sleeves:

i think by "real people" she meant that these aren't fictional characters. she may have thought it was a pseudo documentary about what bodybuilders may be like and not a documentary about non-fictional men and their very real lives.
lol edit: thanks OP vlad was excellent in this. much props to him!Kai Greene, Phil Heath, Cedric McMillan, Lionel Beyeke, Shawn Rhoden

I agree, unfortunately. are people going to identify with branch warren, dennis wolf and phil heath the same way they did with arnold? theres no charismatic figure like there was in pumping iron
the only character is kai...almost similar to ferrigno in that he's a beast but also a tragic figure...religated to second place.
i project modest box office returns...vague interest (but only as a novelty)...and a very minimal, but short lived, surge in popularity for the sport. only if the movie is really fantastically made and compelling will it increase popularityManifest Density

you summed up my thoughts exactly. most of the bbers now are too serious imo and not very personable.
now if they made a movie with the mens physique guys (steve cook and guys like him) THEN theyd probably do ok just because they are good lookign and not too big, idgaf what anyone says physique should draw interest into bbing.Instagram: hyruliangoat_

The only reason PUMPING IRON is so iconic is because of Arnold.
Even when he's being a douche in the film, there's a twinkle in his eye.
Arnold was/is charismatic, charming and PLAYFUL. He has an honest passion for the ART of bodybuilding.
I don't think the same can be said for any of the top pros today, unfortunately.I make party sunglasses: drewstearns.etsy.com

I'd rather see a "true" documentary film of pro bodybuilding of all the dirty laundry going on in the world but that'd never and probably shouldn't happen.
