Question opinion: Days off/overtraining???

What's everyone's general opinion on off time? I hear some people say that they work out 6 or 7 days a week, and others say that you MUST take x ammount of time off per week. I'm in more of a cutting phase right now, and really don't have a problem working out 6+ days a week if need be...but don't want to waste my time either. I'm deployed right now and there's not much else to do in my free time but lift so....

Let me know what you guys think - is 6 or 7 days a week over doing it?

hmm this sounds like one of my old posts from when I was deployed. haha Anyway, I worked out 6 days a week for the whole time I was deployed and I got in the best shape I've been in in years. Now that I'm back (been back for about 2 months) I've gotten kind of lazy lately. I've been only working out about 2 or 3 times a week at most. But I'm going to start ramping up again next week in a more serious program. Anyway, good luck. Like you said you have time to kill over there so use it to get in shape.
