    Thumbs down weight lifting

Ok, I just have a general question. I have been weight lifting for close to 3 month now doing it everyday to every other day. I am currently lifting 170lbs at 7reps and gradually declining the more I do. I have been continuing until I reach around 25 reps usually in sets of 7 6 5 5 4, and I am curling 40lbs dumb bells at 4 sets of 30 reps on my right arm and 6 sets of 20 on my left arm. Is that a good amount or should I be doing a lot more after 3 months of lifting? also I am somewhat nervous about lifting too much weight with my right arm because I broke both bones in my forearm and had to have 2 metal plates and seven screws in each plate put in back in 06 so I am some what worried about messing up my arm with more weight, should I be worried about my arm snapping or should it be good and healed to where I can continue to increase the weight?
