Anyone know anything about the vintage Omega deville with "DNATA" dial? I tried to look it up and it says Dnata is like an Indian Airlines.

It is quartz, but this is a clean, good condition watch at an affordable price

I think my IWC's (Ingenieur Laureus) date mechanism is on the firtz. The date changes at strange hours of the day and not actually on midnight. Also, the date dial does not simply flick over but rather gradually turns and it takes a full 30 or so minutes to switch from one date to the next.
Anyone here know what problem may be?

So fortunately, I got notified that my Ball trainmaster legend has shipped. Unfortunately, I won't be home when it arrives.
Also, to the guy I recommended the Hamilton and tissot visodate, go Hamilton all the way. Girlfriend's dad has the visodate, and it was my first time seeing them side by side. It's a beautiful watch, but I could tell he was mirin. Hamilton is much thinner, lugs are more attractive IMO. Though I did like that it had a second hand.

in case youre unaware, ive read tons of horror stories online about jomas shop. lots of returned, imperfect, etc watches (thats why you get the discount, and its not explicitly stated when you buy stuff). virtually no customer support. If i remember correctly i remember reading a guy returned his watch, which they received, and never got his money back,.. had to complain to bbb to get it back.
Yea... pretty much this. I had one on a wenger swiss military watch i had a few years ago and something happened and the mechanism broke. watch still worked but tachymeter hands were stuck in weird places.<HTC>

"So there I am sitting in the waiting area of the hair salon with my niece and Keanu Reeves walks in. I was nervous as ****, but too scared to say anything to him. Then my niece started crying, and Iâm trying to quiet her down because I don't want to bother him. Pretty soon he walks over and asks what's wrong. I replied that she was probably hungry. He put down his magazine, picked up my niece, and lifted up his shirt, and breastfed her right there in the salon. Chill guy, really nice about it."

Misc what do you think of these Orients? Damn they make some nice watches at cheap price points.
these 2 are hnnnnngggggghhh
Im a watch noob I need a watch that is
-mechanical
-casual?
-simple
-max about 200-350usd
-like the looks of seiko and orient
-needs to be quite rugged and durable due to nature of work
-needs to withstand cold temperatures due to nature of work (not sure if it matters)
-preferably with date/day
Are seiko or orient the best bang for buck? Maybe I can stretch my budget if its worth it. Maybe a Hamilton or a Tissot? Is rose gold a good color for a guy (no homo)?

Here's my little collection:
A quartz Jacques Lemans I bought in 2011 back when I wasn't really into watches. Just needed one and it looked cool so I bought it and I've actually never had any problems with it.
Timex Weekender on a FFF Horween leather strap. Had a $50 credit for Huckberry, so it ended up costing me $25 or so.
Omega PO 8500 - my first "nice" watch. Been wearing it every day since I bought it back in November. Here's a (pretty crappy) lume shot:
I plan on purchasing a Speedy 3573.50 in 2014 (with a bunch of different straps), a Rolex GMT II or the Explorer II in 2015, and something special in 2016 for my 30th B-Day (not sure what yet, maybe an Aquanaut). As for my other watches (timex and JL), I haven't worn them in a while and will probably end up giving them away (at least the JL).
