If anyone finds me a decently priced (not a whole lot over 1100euro) Black dial white subdials Breitling Stainless Steel Top Time 810/14 Ill rep you for life. With the Venus 176 mouvement (38mm)
Thinking the 2002 2subdial Br. TT would be too small for a chrono no? Pre-68´with a venus 188 movement.(36mm)

Pic of my Seamaster Planet Ocean taken a few weeks ago:
Quite a big watch, but being a tall person, i like it that way.
Here it is compared to my old Seamaster Pro (41mm):

The oris is a beautiful watch. Probably one of the best constructed $1000 Swiss divers out there. Everything about it feels fantastic. I was close to buying one, but in the end I held off for two reasons. I personally think they look a bit dull and I'm a strap whore, so the integrated lugs put me off. The bracelet is fantastic, and so is the rubber strap if you decide to go that route. If those points don't bother you, by all means save up for it.
The CWard C60 is a great watch as well. I would say it is one of the best swiss divers in its price range as well. Some say it looks too busy, but I love the styling. It works great on many different strap options.
To look into the Japanese side of things in these price ranges, take a look at the Seiko SBDC001 and SBDC007. Or the Sumo and Shogun respectively. Both are excellent choices.
You really cannot go wrong in the direction you're headed though.S&P Crew

think i will buy a CW c60 with black bezel and a bracelet, love the look of the watch, and for the price of a used c60 i doubt i can get anything better... i dont like the seiko or other brand subs, they scream knockoff too much for me. Time to check watchrecon 24/7 now

Nothing wrong with the Hamilton at all, it looks good. That Rolex is just gaudy and crusty. I'm picturing it on a wrinkled forearm next to possible melanoma. I would feel silly as hell wearing that, srs. Of course it's your money so you can get what you want, but I think there are definitely other options to consider.

Most likely, yeah. I'm waiting to see if the Maranez looks too big. It shouldn't, but it does in most pics I've seen. It arrives tomorrow...if it looks good, I'll be selling. I'm a two watch guy. Only thing I'd add is a dress watch, and honestly I'd kill for a Seiko SND761. I seriously regret not buying for $80 when they were on ebay. Not sure why, I love it:
