As I stated earlier I'm selling off some watches to fund a grail of mine. I will only post this once as to not clutter up the thread and DO NOT quote the pictures or bump it. Please PM me with any offers or questions. I'm going to be listing them individually on watchuseek, but thought I'd give some misc brahs a heads up.

That Hamilton is pure sex... Most aesthetic one out of the collection, although all pieces are nice.

edit: tempted to snag that Tissot as a sort of stand in until I can ever afford a speedmaster, or find someone willing to trade.

Haven't seen much of Cartier in this thread.
Posting one that I used to have:
- Cartier de Pasha
- 38mm
- Guilloche Dial
- GMT
- Power reserve indicator
- Iconic crown protection mechanism and blue cabachon crystal
- Rotating bezel
View of the movement, which is a Girard ********* base
I may one day get another Cartier back in the rotation. Currently have the Cartier Tank MC in my list
In 18K Rose Gold
OR
In SS black dial

Just took this from my thread:
Was hoping to get a watch to wear for general everyday use but I'm completely clueless about watches.
I'm not looking for watches that break the bank seeing as it will just be for general use although I could splash out more for a nice one.
Hard to say, I'm not totally sure what prices I should be expecting☆☆☆υк ¢яєω☆☆☆

Try this site and see if you like anything. Almost all pieces are good respected quality, that don't cost as much. It is the cheapest u will find anywhere as you're from UK. Can always ask for opinions here if u find something u like
http://www.creationwatches.com
Bonus of the website: delivery within 3-4 days to UK, and they package it so u don't have to pay import tax (at least according to reviews)Liverpool F.C.

No rule of thumb. It depends entirely on how much the person is willing to spend. Respectable timepieces can be found for as low as $50 (Seilko SNKxxx series) and as high as you can imagine. I personally don't see myself ever spending more than 10k on a watch, but my current desires are between $1600-$6000. Of my three current watches, they're costs have been $160, $130, and $144, and they're all very good watches.

LOL
i remember getting neg trained last year for saying it was a bad idea to buy used time pieces if you were not a watch expert, and even if you were an expert you should still buy form an AD specifically because of:
http://www.ablogtowatch.com/watch-lo...-rolex-pieces/
now u guys know why. dont care all too much about the reps, but it was like 10 people negging me. just saiyanIW3725-04, Black 116520, White 26320

I think your choice is solid, battery will last long, although an automatic watch wont be a problem as well if you plan on wearing it often.
Personally, i love dive watches and didnt look up many watches similar to the one u posted.
Seiko 5 is good although bigger than the Citizen
http://www.creationwatches.com/produ...atch-3349.html
http://watchreviewbest.com/?p=26243
King 'beater' dive watch, reliable and solid, many would vouch for this watch
http://www.creationwatches.com/produ...atch-1167.html
Ive got the Orient ray and am so happy with it, although really hard to find it in UK;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Orient-FEM...item5406b68314
Orient Mako is similar to the above
http://www.amazon.co.uk/ORIENT-Autom...rds=orient+ray
Really any watch on the site has a good reputation, although its always good to look up any reviews before making a purchase. Orient, Seiko, Citizen; GOAT budget watch makers. Take into consideration in what occasions you would wear and decide.
heres another website for watches - more variety, slightly more expensive http://www.longislandwatch.com/
But i dont know about the shipping charges or if you have to pay import tax to the UK on it. It also has a lot of brands ive never heard about lolLast edited by MantasNachui; 03-25-2014 at 07:40 AM.
