Snow Monster Mod arrived. I'm very happy with it.
Strap is a little short on it, but I think the face is a nice size. I will probably sell the leather strap and see if I can get a comparable one a little larger, luckily it comes with 2 other options:
Total: 1578 | 633/378/633- meet bests | 645/385/660- gym bests

I see you took my advice. I'm having a hard time finding anything on a cordovan/burgundy strap, but hopefully someone else might be of more assistance.
This strap might be of interest to you:
I really like the look of this. Looks damn cool.
It would be interesting to see it on something like this.

Probably not rare to find leather straps that are waterproof. Black straps to me are all boring. What kind of watch and what do you picture as a nice strap?
Bitch pls. You'd rock that on your Sub.
On a srs note I plan on getting one of these when I can reason dropping $175 on a strap is worth it.

Saw some leather straps that were water proof to 100m yesterday, though I wasn't specifically looking for that.
Or was it 100f? I dont know. Oh well.

Definitely don't mind the look of that, but I think my mind is holding up on it because I've literally never seen it on metal, so it's breaking the mold of my mind.

Wish I could have the ability to miss rolex sales (that would mean I was able to buy them). And that one is damn good looking too :/.
I feel ashamed to say that, only yesterday, I realized what the Pepsi bezel is for (realize that one isn't Pepsi, GMT reminded me).

Can the metal bracelet on an orient ray be removed with just spring bar tools? Does anyone know a good tutorial or something for how to do so? I ordered a leather strap and a zulu for it, but can't immediately see how to remove the metal bracelet by just looking at it.

I need a few articles written on watches.
I know there are a few guys on here who have great knowledge of watches, so before i go looking elsewhere was wondering if anyone here would be interested.
Would be willing to pay for each article.
Let me know if you are interested...

Dunno, prices on sold items aren't displayed & I only know the owner of the website through a couple of friends
Among other things:
1) the case is alot more elegant, you can't really notice it in pictures, but I'll upload a pic from my Seamaster vs my Sub & you'll see the Seamaster looks ALOT more rugged/brute/hefty
2) you can't just walk into an AD & buy a Navy 1675 (granted, there are vintage dealers & the lot, but in the end they're alot harder to come by). The hunt is part of the thrill.
3) the history behind the watch. Eg. A dealer I know had a 5512 that was owned by the founder of SEAL Team One. I mean, imagine where the watch has been. It's the same with MilSubs & Comex Subs/SD's; they've been used by highly trained professionals in harsh conditions. That's the stuff that dreams are made of bro.
In the end it's all personal: some people like history, some people just want the newest thing on the block, no shame in choosing either one.
16750, no bracelet, so 4200-4500?
Elaborate (assuming bolded also includes me )
Try looking for single ridged/double ridged gator straps? Dunno

I recommend you strap brahs check out Hadley-Roma. I took in a few gold Rolex's on trade last week and ordered one strap from Hirsch and the other from Hadley-Roma and was far more impressed with the Hadley. I'm pretty sure they're made by the same company but it was also cheaper. If I have some spare time today I'll try to post up some pics of some of the watches I've bought on trade recently.
60% of the time I rep back everytime
