For the past 2 years I'd averaged probably 3-5 "sessions" a week, and at school definitely closer to 5-6. For the past 100 days I haven't smoked because I fear a possible hair test for internships (~90 day screen). So here's my results:
The most noticeable positive effect:
-I wake up naturally much earlier with much more energy. No bags under the eyes, no taking an hour+ to feel "woken up", MUCH more energy throughout the day. And with that, I feel more motivated obviously. This has really been the only thing that I look back on and can really point out as being a dramatic effect of not blazing
Some Other noticeable Positive Effects:
-Maybe a little more mental clarity earlier in the day? That probably goes right in with the absence of morning grogginess, however.
-My lifts have increased a lot in the past 3 months, but there's no way to really associate that with not smoking.
-A bit of increased lung capacity obviously
-more cash that I'm not spending on los drogas
-knowing that I can resist the temptation (lol)
Most Noticeable Negative Effect:
-I still think about smoking a lot. Not because I "need to feel high" or "crave" it, but because there's a LOT (A LOT) of times when I think being baked would be really relaxing/fun at that current time (i.e. playing video games late at night, watching documentaries, listening to music, etc.). This is a really big one for me. Just being in situations where I WANT to blaze and just relax.
Some Other Noticeable Negative Effects
-Being in a situation after a night out when everyone else in the room is smoking
-Im an ecto, so being baked really helped me gain a ton of lean muscle mass. I've gained strength over the 100 days, but not as much mass as I would have if i'd been munching every night
-I think blazing helps expand your mind in a sense and lets you think outside of the box. But it can work the other way and make you think way too much into small things. I do sometimes miss the "out of the box" thinking from being baked, though
That's about it. In before smart ass comments. I'll just ignore those though

Holy chit OP, Repped!
I've been about 100 days now without buds as well. Prior to that I had been smoking everyday for about 5+ years. The past 2 years I would only smoke post workout, but pre that I was a pretty hardcore bong rat.
I agree with all your points stated! Good job mate.
The clarity I have both physically and mentally is amazing. It's not to say that I don't miss the feeling of getting high, but I feel great now that I'm not. I'm definitely more motivated in everything I do at the moment. Strong feels at the moment from reading this thread.STFU AND LIFT...Tears get you sympathy, sweat will get you results.

yeah i relied pretty heavily on using it to fall asleep, so i would wake up around noon very often when it was completely unnecessary
not sure what your first 2 questions mean, but yeah it is harder to fall asleep. I have trouble falling to sleep normally, and being blazed for an hour or 2 would knock me right out. I just take a melatonin now if I can't sleep though"the jerk store called. they're running out of you!"

Taking a hopefully long term break myself. 2 weeks in, sleeping very well, lots of energy for morning lifts. I did make a few space cookies with my leftover buds for the weekends. Still nice to take an entire day off and chill without the negative effects of smoking it. I think eating it will keep me away from smoking it on the reg.

Fuark, to be honest I love having vivid dreams. I thought it would subside, but probably 4-5 times a week I wake up being able to remember my dreams so well. Didn't have any break outs, then again I have dat dere baby asian smooth skin genetics of peace.
What is AMA? I'm unaware.STFU AND LIFT...Tears get you sympathy, sweat will get you results.

I've noticed similar effects OP (cut down from 5ish times a week during the school year to 1-2 times now), but I don't think I would ever drop it completely unless I knew I was going to be tested for certain. I'm too big a fan of the outside of the box thinking+easy sleep.
What internships are you applying for that do hair testing though? Something in government?*Wisconsin crew*

Good chit opie. I havent smoked up in 25 days and it feels great. My main reason for quitting is because it adds no value to my life. I smoke up with friends, we sit there, dont even talk much and end up going home. And I hear you on the waking up relatively easy part. I dont feel groggy in the mornings anymore unless Im running on little sleep. But if I get a good amount around 6 hours, I feel fresh.
