Last night's workout: Back/Biceps
Pullups
3 sets of 10 with BW
Pull downs
4 sets of 12 with 150
DB Rows
3 sets working up to 85x8
Seated Rows
3 sets of 10 with 130
BB Curls
3 sets os 10 with 70
DB Curls
3 sets of 15 with 25
It was a decent workout, but I wasn't in the best mood. There were some high school kids there just looking like a bunch of idiots. They were just going from one excercise to the next doing whatever, they were playing on their phones, flexing in the mirror, and of course taking of a bunch of equipment. I just tried to ignore it and avoid them but it was to hard and then I just got pissed because I they were all over the place. All I know is that I am doing squats tonight and if they come near me or are hogging the squat rack there will be hell to pay.

Last night's workout: Legs
Squats
4 set worked up 255x6 and then I stripped everything back down for another few set until I got to 135
Front Squats with my heels on 25lb plates
4 sets with 115 for 10-15 reps
Leg Extensions
4 sets worked up to 150x10
Seated Leg Curls
4 sets with 115 for 10-15 reps
Standing Calve Raises
4 sets with 135 for 10-15 reps
Seated Calve Raises
3 sets 10-15
Abs, stretched, and foam rolled
It was a decent workout. My knees were bothering me during squats. I am thinking I need to change the way I do legs. I love squats but I think I need to work lighter and just got crazy with like 5 sets of 10-15 reps and just really get the blood flowing. I never really do lunges so I will probably just make that another must do excercise. To be honest my legs are by far my worst body part. My quads and calves are weak/small, but my hamstrings/ass are a lot more dominate. Anyways I feel pretty good today after legs and might make tonight a cardio day?

Good looking legs man, keep hitting them hard and its a good thing with squats low rep just do more sets and then your next exercise put your reps around 10-12 that'll pump your legs full of blood!!! Concept that always like to use, is tear down then fill up - repeat till you can't more Have a great weekend buddy!

Thanks and welcome!
I will see what happens this week.
I like the idea! We will what I end up doing this week.
Thanks!
Thanks and I am sure people said the same **** about all of us when we were kids!
Nothing really important to update for this weekend. I just relaxed and did family stuff. I am back at the gym tonight so stay tuned for updates....

Great leg session. I've always found my legs respond best to either heavy weights with few reps but lots of sets OR with heavy volume. Pick one and roll with it. Find what works best for you and stick with it. Of course nowadays I warm up like I'm an old man haha

I have to warm up a lot too these days. Lower back issues.... Have you seen the new and improved Agile 8 called the "Limber 11"? I am going to start that everyday before I lift. Joe Defranco isn't call the pro maker for nothing..... I am thinking a my start working up to a max set of 5 reps on squats and then just go crazy high rep with everything else. I really want to squat heavy again so we will run with that.

Last night's workout: Chest/Triceps
Incline Bench
4 sets and worked up to 185x8 then did a drop set to finish
Flat DB Press
4 sets and worked up to 85x8 then did a drop set to finish
DB Flies on the flat bench]
3 sets of 10 with 40lb DBs
Peck Deck
3 sets of 10 with 100lbs
Incline Skulls
3 sets of 12 with 70lbs
V-bar pressdowns
3 sets of 12 with light weight
Rope Pushdowns
2 sets of 12 with light weight
Abs, stretched, and attempted to run
I felt great last night, until I tried to run.... My left knee was still bothering me. I have a month to go until my 10k and sadly I have been slacking in the running department. I really need to get my but in gear and start training a little hard for it. I do not care what my time is for the run, I just want to finish without walking during the course of the run. I really need to start logging 5-10 miles a week not on top of my bootcamp class on the weekends. I am thinking I will be dropping my volume down a little so I have more time to run and of course have some more energy at the end of my lifting.
Sadly last night was the last night of Instincts. I was really surprised how much I enjoyed this product. I will hold off and give my review at the end of this log when I am done with Serum. I will end with this..... "Like a rock!"

Last nights workout: Back/Biceps
Bent Rows
6 sets of 8-12 with 155
Stretched, and foam rolled
Once I was done with rows my back started to spasm a little bit. At that point I just laid down and rested a few minutes to see if it would go away, and of course it didn't. I then just tried to stretch and foam roll all in an attempt to relieve any stress in my lower back. I pretty much just left the gym and went home. Now this morning I couldn't get out of bed. My back is cramped and really tight. It hurts like a mother f*er..... At least I have my chiropractor appointment today and that should help relieve some of the issues. This is the worst back pain I have had in about two years and I started getting treatment when my back started giving me issues. I am going to take the rest of the week off just to give my body rest. I have another week give or take left of Serum so I am thinking next week will be my last week with the log. I wouldn't expect crazy updates or workouts next week. I will more than likely just be doing cardio and some full body stuff here and there depending on how my lower back feels.

@ reading at the Instincts roofie idea haha
Hope your back feels better. Hate that as I know how frustrating that can be. Take your time and get better my friend.Magnum Nutraceuticals BB.com Forum Manager & Lead Sales Representative
