Just realized the SLC is a kit car, but still sweet

kit car that can hang with a Koenigsegg ..... I've driven a CCXR .... awesome car, but I prefer my SLC (mostly because i built it so I can fix it if it breaks, ahahahah!)

Have you ever done a carb to efi swap? Let me know, seriously i have an 84 c10 silverado with the original 305, flowmaster exhaust. Sounds great. But i want to get an ls3 in my truck but problem is i dont have anyone that can do the FI work. So i need to know what might be involved.

I have not done a swap but I try to run carb when I can. Usually rear clip height prevents me from being able to though

Keep it stock, drive it casual and stay up to date on maintenance. It will last forever.

Ive Modded the fuk out of mine and I beat it all day errday but im very anal about maintenance and keeping the car running and looking great.

Got 43k on the clock so far and hasn't missed a beat. My dad has a 2012 wrx hatch as well and I love it lol

I would get want the turbo one and modify it haha , been looking around and the only ones I've found are the bug eyed wrx :/ they look a bit ugly for me haha

No build thread; my photobucket has a crap load of pictures all the way along my cobra and slc build. It's got a built LS3 and a Ricardo transaxle. ISIS solid state controller. Weldon fuel system. A a crap load of carbon fiber.

I mostly lurked the impalassforum but I'll be back on when I get this job goin and get some money. I'm owe the county 3 G's to get my license back, plus reg and a tune-up so dealin with that nonsense.

You mess around with NAISSO or any local clubs? Ideally I wanna be cruising the states for meet-ups.

Nice. The Ricardo transaxles are very sweet...was looking into that over the Porsche G50 when putting everything together to get a final build estimation cost (like that is ever accurate though, lol)

good luck with that. and there are so many InC clubs out in cali its ridiculous. there are no active clubs here in jersey, and the philly club is honestly an embarrassment and i would never want to be associated with them

Ya when I was shopping for my SS a few of them were InC members. But I just wanna do the token meet-up once a year. I got friends into Impalas/Mustangs and also imports and roll with them to local or Northern Cali events.

I'm guessin you're not a 20''+ fan? lol some of them look good but I shake my head at the lifted 28 inch ****s. Just guessing that's what the Philly club is like.
