http://richhabits.net/the-journey-is-the-reward/
Many of the successful people in my study fondly reminisced about their journey in pursuit of achieving their big goals, major purpose or life dream, rather than in the actual realization of the goals, purpose or dream. Although every journey in pursuit of success is fraught with pitfalls, obstacles, ups and downs, it is, interestingly, the journey itself where we learn, grow and evolve into a new, more improved person. It is the journey that makes us who we are, not the actual success itself. The transformation from ordinary Joe to Joe Success takes place during the journey towards success.
When we pursue a big goal, major purpose or life dream we are forced to grow in knowledge, learn from our mistakes and perfect our skills to such an extent that we actually transform ourselves into experts in our field. It is this period of uninterrupted growth that is the rewarding part, it turns out. Not the manifestation of success. In fact, many of the successful individuals in my study felt as if the realization of their big goals, purpose or dream was the letdown part of the journey. It is this period of growth that is so rewarding. We can’t actually see the growth occurring in ourselves because it is so incremental. Daily growth is hard to see. It is only when we look back and compare the person we were with the person we’ve become that we realize how much we’ve changed and grown during our journey towards success.

Research is pointing to conscientiousness as the one-trait-to-rule-them-all in terms of future success, both career-wise and personal.
http://www.theguardian.com/world/200...gender.comment
The next possible solution is arguably the most convincing of all: both sides lie through their teeth and give answers that they believe are expected of them, answers that seem, in a very gender-specific way, "respectable". This was certainly the conclusion of the last sociological study of sex surveys (Taylor, 1996), which concluded: "The discrepancy arises from men's tendency to exaggerate and women's fear of derogatory labelling." But it is the nuances within the lying that I find interesting.

Survey found quarter of female university students lie about lovers
20 per cent reduce number so they look less promiscuous
12 per cent of male students exaggerate their sex number
Average student said they'd slept with nine people

Women admit to regular lies
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...-lying-it.html
Think men are the unfaithful sex? A study shows WOMEN are the biggest cheats - they're just better at lying about it
According to Dr David Holmes, a psychologist at Manchester Metropolitan University, women are having more affairs than ever - recent studies say the figure is around 20 per cent for men and a bit over 15 per cent for women - but they behave very differently from men when they cheat.
'The biggest difference is that women are much better at keeping their affairs secret,' he says. 'If you look at the studies into paternity, even conservative figures show that between eight and 15 per cent of children haven't been fathered by the man who thinks he's the biological parent.'
http://www.psychologytoday.com/artic...he-orgasm-wars
What's Love Got To Do With It?
It's important to note what did not correlate with female orgasm during sex. Degree of women s romantic attachment did not increase the frequency of orgasm! Nor did the sexual experience of either partner. Conventional wisdom holds that birth control and protection from disease up orgasm rates, since they allow women to feel more relaxed during intercourse. But no relationship emerged between female orgasm and the use of contraception.
Nor can the study results be explained by the possibility that the symmetrical males were dating especially uninhibited and orgasmic women. Their partners did not have more orgasms during foreplay or in other sexual activities. Male symmetry correlated with a high frequency of female orgasm only during copulation.
The findings support evolutionary psychologists' "good genes" hypothesis: Women have orgasm more often with their most symmetrical lovers, increasing the likelihood of conceiving these men's children. Well, that's how it would have worked for millennia, before condoms and the Pill.

Don't get much involved with conspiracies or arguing/debating them anymore.
I've realized while truth is always good, consuming too much non relevant truth can actually hinder one's overall progress.
I.e let's take someone trying to be successful at starting up a business, their time would be better spent studying successful businesses, current trends and how they relate to their location. Now this same person could spend 4 hours studying chess end game theory and get really good at chess end games, but how is it relevant to him? It's not. While what he is studying obviously is true and has application, relative to him it really doesn't.
Conspiracy theories are much the same, once you understand the basic scheme of things, spending hours pouring over every minute detail of an event doesn't yield any benefit to one's life. If anything it can lead to an extremely negative/hysterical view, not in the sense that what one sees isn't true, but they present that truth in a way that doesn't benefit them (wasting time arguing with people who won't listen) or worse trying to force it on others who aren't interested not only wasting their/the other person's time, but also polarizing them further away from the truth.
I started this thread with posting tons of conspiracy content and now that I've done that, the content that I'm going to be posting is more relevant to social dynamics/psychology/our biological drives and things that can help people transcend their current environment and create a better one. While I'll always keep conspiracy/current/OT event content on deck, the intention of this thread is more so providing content to inspire/help individual solutions to most common problems. Through this, hopefully we can have enough people rise to a position where they themselves can effect change and the consciousness of others.

90% of people that would get offended by that aren't offended by what it says particularly, but because it comes off as crass or tasteless in relation to the lives lost in such an awful way. It almost feels like you're pulling the attention away from even the theory you're wearing and transferring that attention onto yourself, like, "look at me, I know the truth and you're all sheeple." Or even looking like a bid for some shock value in public kind of thing. Not saying you're wrong, just showing a different view
